Leadership, as many rightly say, is not about noise but rather it is about results. When the bridge around the SDA Church (Engineering Gate route) became dangerous and inaccessible, it wasn’t just a structure that was affected; it was our safety, our convenience, and our peace of mind. At that critical moment, I (OBENG KELVIN FOSU) did not wait for complaints to pile up. I did not shift blame or offer mere assurances. I stepped forward, mobilized support, and took action. If we have students who will still pay for this prices after we all complain, there'll be no progress.

Many of us are quietly going through pain, skipping meals, delaying fees, squeezing into overcrowded rooms and carrying heavy mental stress just to survive. The constant worry is affecting our mental health and academic performance. An empty wallet and constant headaches should not be part of the student experience. This is not just about money. It’s about our well-being, our dignity and our ability to focus on studies. No student should have to choose between shelter and survival. We will push management until hostel prices are brought down to a fair and reasonable level. To every student struggling right now you are seen, and you are not alone.
