SC Nelson Havi says President Ruto forming an Ebola Response Committee only after the U.S. committed KSh 1.7 billion funding is “an impeachable offence” and “treason against the People of Kenya.”

Kenyans are using AI-generated videos to mock the Kenya–USA Ebola deal, under which Kenya is set to establish a quarantine facility for U.S. citizens who may be infected with the virus.

We are being led by a transactional government that is good at cutting deals that benefit them at the expense of common mwananchi what do you mean that William Ruto has formed an Ebola task force after the US confirmed 1.7B in funding?

The judiciary MUST at all times remain steady as the last line of Defence in saving the Kenyan public from the excesses of a rogue regime that has gone berserk with sheer impunity. I salute and welcome the High Court of Kenya ruling on putting breaks on the evil scheme to establish an Ebola Center in our country putting millions of lives at risk. I commend the people of Kenya especially our Health Professionals for boldly speaking out against this reckless and ill thought out misadventure by Mr. William Ruto. Kenyans Will not allow a desperate regime to endanger their lives after messing up the country through mismanagement, corruption, conflict of interest and state capture. While other Nations are protecting their people against Health Pandemics, Kenya's William Ruto is exposing the Kenyan people to death. What is greed? What is reckless? What is patriotism?

What is life Anyway? Elizabeth Njoki is 21 years old. She was born and raised in Nakuru by a banker father and a businesswoman mother. Her father built a 12-bedroom mansion and owned two cars while her mother ran a boutique. Life was comfortable until she was 12, when her father was diagnosed with cancer and diabetes. He died a month later. Two weeks after the burial, her father's two brothers showed up and kicked the family out of their own home. They took the cars and the boutique, claiming everything belonged to their late brother. The family had nowhere to go. They were taken in by a friend of her mother for two weeks. They then moved to Naivasha where another friend helped her mother find a job to provide for the children. The children went back to school and tried to accept their new reality. After some time, the mother fell into depression and nearly lost her mind. Together with a friend, Njoki helped take her to Mathare Hospital where she was admitted. With her mother gone, Njoki dropped out of school and started doing casual jobs to buy food for her three siblings. Her mother eventually got better and was discharged from hospital with help from the area MCA. Despite everything, Njoki managed to score 378 marks in her KCSE and a Good Samaritan paid for her entire secondary education. But in Form Three, her mother's condition worsened again. She started disappearing for days at a time before returning home. Without her knowledge, some men took advantage of her situation and she came back pregnant. Njoki once again had to leave school and look for casual jobs to keep the family fed. Her mother later gave birth to their fifth child. When they could not pay rent, the landlord locked them out with all their belongings still inside. A family friend then relocated them to their rural home in Kinangop to live with their grandmother. Things stabilised for a while. The children went back to school and Njoki adapted to a life of casual work because her mother's mental health kept deteriorating. Their grandmother died in 2024 and they were kicked out of that home too. Njoki used her savings to rent a single room and life went on. In June last year, Njoki collapsed and was rushed to hospital by a neighbour after she was found bleeding. Doctors discovered she had fibroids in her uterus requiring urgent surgery, or the uterus would have to be removed entirely to stop the bleeding. She could not raise the 80,000 shillings needed for the operation and continued living with the daily bleeding. She was trying to manage her own condition, care for her mentally unstable mother, provide for the younger children and pay rent all at once. It became too much. The landlord kicked them out again and a neighbour took them in. Then in August last year, their second born son was involved in an accident and died on the spot. Njoki went to the area chief who helped organise a simple burial within two days at a public cemetery in Longonot. Only a handful of people attended. Their mother was absent. Njoki scored a B plus in KCSE. She had the grades to build a future for herself. Instead she chose to stay behind and hold her family together. Today she lives on hope alone, trusting that God will find a way through.

The USA has vowed not to allow anyone exposed to EBOLA to the USA soil. They are free to take their citizens exposed to EBOLA and quarantine them in Space Ships, or to the USA territory. If the USA doesn’t want them, they can stay in the DRC. If the EBOLA exposed people are not safe for the USA, they are not safe for Kenyans. @WilliamsRuto must be deposed if he brings EBOLA to Kenya using infected USA citizens.

So now Kenya has reached a point where citizens are arrested for hating failed leadership while the real looters of this country move around with convoys, police escorts and microphones lecturing hungry wananchi about patriotism. William Ruto has turned anger into a crime because anger is now directed at him everywhere. Markets are angry. Youth are angry. Workers are angry. Even businesses are collapsing under taxes designed to feed a bloated political class living like kings while ordinary Kenyans survive on debt and despair. Kidero Jasuba did not create unemployment. He did not raise fuel prices. He did not invent overtaxation. He did not loot public funds. He did not push millions into hopelessness. The pain Kenyans are expressing was created by William Ruto’s government. What the DCI is doing now is not law enforcement. It is political intimidation. A state that cannot defend its record starts hunting critics. That is why people believe Farouk Kibet and the political machinery around State House are using security agencies like private weapons against dissenters. Meanwhile, leaders who have made reckless ethnic remarks and dangerous statements remain untouched because loyalty to power has become the new immunity card in Kenya. You cannot arrest an entire country for being angry. You cannot handcuff hunger. You cannot jail frustration. You cannot silence a generation whose future has been destroyed by greed, lies and betrayal. The more this regime uses fear, the more Kenyans become convinced that the government is terrified of its own people.
