…..and home after a pretty epic trip. Yesterday left Stuttgart at 10.30pm and home at 6.30am this morning (stats in photo). Pretty decent run. The Dakar did a total of 4,439 miles on this road trip. Into Porsche High Wycombe next week for a check up and a few warranty related repairs. Plus new windscreen has arrived to be fitted by Paul from Glasstec. Existing one destroyed! 😂

Learnt with deep shock and profound sorrow that we have lost 16 girls of Utumishi Girls Academy in Gilgil while scores others have been injured in a fire tragedy at school. To lose young girls, full of hope and dreams for the future, in such a cruel and painful way is stark reminder of how fleeting life on earth is. Condolences to the bereaved families, quick recovery to the injured. The Government stands with all those affected, and is committed to support the school community to come to terms with this tragedy. May the souls of our children who have perished find rest in eternity.
