Today in nonsense from across the Atlantic: The MLS are proposing to move the Vancouver Whitecaps "franchise" to Las Vegas. Honestly, do the Americans realise this is exactly the sort of reason that no-one takes their league seriously?

@ChrisParry No one wants to buy team and keep it in Vancouver! Just because the attendance is good now means nothing. It was shit for 15 years. No foreigner is going to invest a billion+ to keep the team there!

As someone involved in the purchase of two European football clubs, I can tell you this: If nobody is interested in buying Whitecaps, the top team in the MLS, who outdraw most teams and win championships, that's an UGLY indictment on the sustainability of the league, not the city
