@girdley This is great! BTW, I led an effectuation workshop at an elementary school, and a teacher asked me, “How can we protect student IP from being stolen?” She was genuinely concerned. How would you answer that question?

When people start something with partners... They often make a big mistake. They don't create alignment from the start. --- Here's how I solve that. We write a Memorandum of Understanding. It puts down: • What's the idea/vision • Who's doing what • What's our plan Below is a sample of one. -- This MOU step has many benefits: • Saves on legal fees later • Reduces the chance of later disagreement • Forces you to have a "tough" conversation • Moves super fast (saves lawyers for later!) • Avoids doing stuff that looks like progress but isn't -- Doing this has saved me millions by avoiding drama. While I've had partnership headaches like everyone else, I've never had one fail because of misalignment. Last I checked, that's around ~15 and growing! -- What questions do you have?
