When I started as a consultant, my line manager was a Programme Manager who answered to the CEO of the Health Board. One layer of management between me & the CEO. With this new structure, I count 5 layers of management between a consultant and the REO. Depressing.

Today in the Programme for Government & Slaintecare implementation we reached another milestone. Following an international competition supported by the Minister and Department I have appointed six leaders for our new Regions. These six leaders will work with me and a changed HSE centre to bring decision making & improvements closer to local communities. @HSELive @DonnellyStephen March 1st next step.

One of the biggest amounts of guilt and self loathing I feel is when I accidentally cut my baby ‘s finger when trying to clip his nails . Seeing the blood and hearing him cry … argh I hate it ! I feel so bad 😭😭
