@JasonGregor Way too passive in their own zone. Yesterday was just another example. 3-4 standing around and other team gets stick on puck and scores. It’s a collective not just the goalie all the time

Allowed the most goals in NHL (46).
Goalies need to make a few more saves, but their skaters need to be much better defensively. And not just one or two. Way too leaky overall.

You won’t hear:

Or
“Had we gotten a key save or 2 while killing penalties in the Finals.”

If they are using the EXCUSE of spygate that’s ridiculous…many teams (including ourselves) tried it..Howard Mudd at Kansas City who later coached for Bill Polian and Tony Dungy gave us the idea..he was the best..we didn’t get anything and stopped but many teams gave it a try

@MrFordy5 @barstoolsports Defenders hand was in the “catch” and came out with the ball as they both hit the ground. The ball has to be controlled all the way to the ground. There was not full control. Look at Gregors post on the other angle. Feels very telling

@Kills17 @barstoolsports Cooks knee was literally down with control and he even got to his back with contact. One could argue he had more control - They were both catches by rule in my opinion…
