@VandyJF @databallr i wonder why he'd hate on Steph, it's not like Curry walked his team down in the finals a couple years ago or something

@KillsUWithRocks @databallr You’re arguing under a tweet where LeBron’s biggest media critic is saying LeBron was clearly better.

"Was there ever a point when everyone agreed Stephen Curry was the best player in the league?" 2016 has to qualify. 131 out of 131 voters chose him for MVP. He also had the best advanced stats that year, and the gap between him and #2 was the biggest in the last 25 years. LeBron was coming off a playoff run where shot just 47% TS, and had just an okay regular season for LeBron standards. Sure, maybe in the closing moments of Game 7, as Kevin Love locked him up on the perimeter and he bricked the 3 off the backboard, he lost the crown in the eyes of the mob. But the voters and the spreadsheets had already spoken.

@KillsUWithRocks @databallr You’re arguing against the consensus and refusing to provide logical arguments. You should try visiting a site called basketball reference 👍

@KillsUWithRocks @databallr To be the best player in the world u need multiple deep playoff runs as the clear #1 on a team and elite impact. Steph never came close to the 2-way impact LeBron had

@VandyJF @databallr But 2015 was a very big post-season moment where they played each other for us to see who was better !

Pretend pretending Stephen Curry wasn’t both the best player in 2016 and clearly injured in the 2016 playoffs because Nike lets you go to their employee store in Portland and pick out shit for free is why no one trust the media

Player A is Stephen Curry in 2014-15 and 2015-16 (including playoffs). Player B is LeBron James in 2014-15 and 2015-16 (including playoffs).

In the play-by-play era, here's every player to post a +17 on-court NET RTG as (at least arguably) the best player on a team: Steph (16, 17) KD (17) Shai (25) Wemby (26) If you add a +14 on-off swing to the criteria, the list is: Steph (16, 17) Wemby (26) We got here so fast.
