Moments before my first Cyber-puncture.. at Death Valley of course lol. What does Jack Mode actually do? I was hoping it would lock the suspension in place. It in fact, does not. Still an incredible amount of travel which made the oem bottle jack a pain to use..

What happened at the Mint 400 was not the result we came here for, but it showed us exactly what this race and this community are about. Our Cybertruck suffered a major suspension failure when a spindle bolt in our 2.5-inch lift kit snapped, causing the upper control arm to strike and destroy the air suspension and wiring. Somehow, AJ and Chewy managed to hold it together with ratchet straps and zip ties long enough to limp the truck back to pit 3. Although that shortcut meant the truck was disqualified, the race was far from over for us. In the pits, something bigger happened. People from across the off-road community, including teams we had never met before, stepped in without hesitation. They brought tools, experience, a welder, and most importantly, support when we needed it most. After hours of brutal work in the desert, we repaired the damage and sent the truck back out, where it still managed to achieve a 120mph+ run across the lakebed sections of the course. We did not come here to disrupt anything. We came here to learn, to challenge ourselves, and to do something different. This weekend reminded us that off-road racing is not just about results, it is about grit, respect, and the people who show up when things go wrong. To everyone who helped us, thank you. What started as a wild idea turned into a real race truck in just two months, and getting here took an incredible amount of work, late nights, problem-solving, and belief from everyone involved. Mint 400 Day 2: Tech Inspection + Final Race Prep for tomorrow ⚡️🏁 Today was all about tech inspection, final prep, and seeing this build meet the crowd for the first time. What stood out most was the reaction. Seeing the first Cybertruck ever enter the Mint 400 sparked way more curiosity, support, and genuine excitement than we ever expected. People came up all day to check out the truck, ask questions about the build, and show love to what our team have been working so hard to bring to life. After tech, it was straight back to race prep mode. The afternoon was spent going over every detail, checking every system, and making sure every nut and bolt was tightened to spec so we are as ready as possible for tomorrow morning. Builds like this do not happen without teamwork, trust, and a lot of people showing up for each other when it counts. We are grateful for all the support, proud of how far this truck has come, and beyond excited to see it hit the course tomorrow.

This was never going to be easy. The Mint 400 is one of the most brutal off-road races in America, and we came here to learn, to push boundaries, and to see what this platform is truly capable of in one of the harshest environments possible. What we gained from this race was far more valuable than a finishing result alone. We leave with hard-earned knowledge, deeper respect for the sport, and a clearer vision of what comes next. This was the first chapter, not the final word. And one thing is certain: we will return to the Mint 400 next year, stronger, smarter, and ready to push even further.

The Mint 400 gave us a brutal lesson in off-road racing. After a major suspension failure damaged the truck mid-race, AJ from the Baja Shop and Chewy from @KilowattCustoms managed to get it back to pit 3, where the off-road community showed up in a huge way. Other teams and fellow racers stepped in with tools, welding support, and helping hands to get us back together. After hours of repairs, we sent the truck back out and it still managed 128 mph on the dry lake bed. We may have been out of official contention, but what we gained was far bigger: respect for the sport, respect for the people in it, and gratitude for everyone who helped us when it mattered most. Update 🚨 @cybertruck Racetruck we had some software issues early on the race limp mode 4mph max . After some trouble shooting made some adjustments got back on the track then passenger side upper control arm sheared off a bolt ! Against all odds @KilowattCustoms Chewy & AJ managed to limp back to pit 3 where @cyberoffroad @UnpluggedTesla @CTJESU55 Miller racing team all worked together to weld a bolt on reinforce ,replace rhs air shock completely destroyed all while fast Dc charging with a 50Kw portable generator set up sent back out . They managed to finish 1 lap but unfortunately were DQ unable to finish race .
