@BarbieItungoK That everything I had🤣🤣🤣, you guys are comedian you and your husband, after misleading and making the so called foot soldiers arrested, now you are here playing smart🤔
I still vividly remember the moment everything I had built over the years collapsed. The day every part of my life fell apart simultaneously.
My life got formatted and everything that I had carefully crafted just crumbled before my own eyes. A fundamental reconstruction, a total overhaul of everything I knew happened in the blink of an eye. In that moment, everything I had built my identity on melted through my fingers. My soul died!
For three months, I have been facing the chaos of transformation. This has not happened in isolation. I have experienced unconditional love, and unreserved support. Sometimes I look at myself in the mirror and can’t seem to know who I am anymore! The bitter/sweet part of all this is that I will never be the same again. I have experienced pure sisterhood and I got to experience firsthand the true meaning of unreserved support. In the chaos of fundamental change, I have learnt to love more and in many aspects, I am different.
This powerful statue of our next president GEN @mkainerugaba deserves to stand tall as a grand portrait at the Kampala Clock Tower! It would be a daily symbol of leadership, courage & vision for every Ugandan passing by!

@HEBobiwine Hahahahah, I think you are in the wrong location mr🤣🤣🤣, discussing issues in Uganda with students in Harvard , eeeee toli mwavu mutwe gwo gwe mwavu
This coming week, I will be engaging the students and faculty of Harvard and Howard Universities. We shall have conversations about the struggle for democracy in Uganda, and the future of the African continent generally.
On Monday, 27th April, I will be at the Harvard University Center for African Studies in Cambridge, MA. On Tuesday, 28th April, I will be hosted by the African Studies Graduate Students Association (ASGSA) at Howard University University.
These engagements are part of our broader effort to strengthen solidarity and sharpen the ideas that will define Uganda and Africa’s democratic path.
As I emphasised in Nairobi during Tokyo International Conference on African Development ten years ago, we must stop addressing our problems in isolation. If we resolve the strategic bottlenecks of ideological disorientation, weak states, fragmented markets, low value addition, underdeveloped infrastructure, and gaps in human resources, Africa will be unstoppable.
@KagutaMuseveni@MacxzzonMuhwezi "A powerful tribute to family, faith, and service. Gen. Muhoozi’s contributions to national security and reform are undeniable. Here’s to another year of protecting our motherland. Well done, General!"
Greetings fellow Ugandans, fellow Africans and especially, the Bazzukulu.
I am sending out this message to, first of all, thank God for giving Maama and myself our wonderful children: Muhoozi (Muogi), Natasha (Kukuru), Patience (Pusi) and Kyaremeera (Kyinini)., protecting them and prospering them. Secondly, I want to thank Maama for looking after them especially for the years 1981-86 when she was the only parent near them. Thirdly, I salute the children for going through the school systems and branching out successfully in the different fields of life – family, career, etc.
Fourthly, I thank the Ugandans and some of the Africans for standing with and supporting our family and Political movement in the various endeavours we have been undertaking with them.
On this occasion, on the 24th of April 2026, I want to congratulate Gen. Muhoozi (Muogi) on this 52nd birthday. These children, in particular Muhoozi, were born in the resistance, grew up in the resistance, and, in various ways, have made significant contribution to the resistance. Gen. Muhoozi has made significant contribution to fighting corruption in the Army and increasing the lethality of the UPDF.
@KagutaMuseveni This is the conversation we've been waiting for. $3.6 trillion is just the beginning. With revolutionary ideology, discipline, and strategic investment, we can and will transform this continent. Strong words for a stronger future.
I thank H.E. William Ruto and the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) for organising the Africa We Build Summit. I am glad that the AFC are speaking my language, the language of revolution.
Africa’s GDP is only about $3.6 trillion despite our vast land and population. Countries like China were once very poor but transformed themselves through discipline, clarity of purpose, and investment. Therefore, Africa’s problem is not money; it is ideological.
@KagutaMuseveni Love the theme 'from priority to implementation.' That's the mindset shift we need. All the best as you engage investors and fellow leaders on real, bankable projects.
I have this morning arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, to attend the Africa We Build Summit 2026. The Summit brings together leaders from the public and private sectors to discuss practical ways of moving Africa’s infrastructure from priority to implementation.
I look forward to engaging with fellow leaders, investors, and partners on strengthening collaboration to accelerate infrastructure development for Africa’s socio-economic transformation.
@KagutaMuseveni "Balancing defence preparedness with a firm stand on integrity is exactly what the country needs. Wishing the MPs well as they take these lessons home."
This morning in Kyankwanzi, I took the Members of Parliament through a shooting range exercise, guided them on the basics and observed their participation. I congratulate them, especially the veterans who took part.
I reminded them that ours is a people’s army. We train citizens so they can return to civilian life but remain ready as a reserve force, strengthening our defence through mobilisation and preparedness.
I also emphasised that leaders must fight corruption, reject bribery and vote-buying, and stand firm on integrity. I wish them good luck as they return to their constituencies.
@KagutaMuseveni Teach history, demonstrate economic success, and demand integrity. The 1984 Masindi Barracks attack site is a humbling classroom. Your message on moving Ugandans into the money economy is the right roadmap for these young MPs."
Today, at the closure of the retreat for the newly elected NRM Members of the 12th Parliament, I hosted them at Ngoma State Lodge. We toured the farm and walked to the bridge between River Mayanja and River Kafu, an area with historical significance linked to our liberation struggle, including the 1984 NRA attack on Masindi Barracks.
I cautioned these young leaders against corruption, especially in Parliament. I also reiterated our long-standing message of moving Ugandans from subsistence living to the money economy, as demonstrated by the transformation of the cattle corridor through dairy farming.
@KagutaMuseveni@kakensaug "Productive use of government land, including planting seedlings, is a practical move for agricultural growth. It transforms idle assets into food and income, directly supporting national food security goals.
I concluded my day with further engagements on the sixth day of the MPs’ retreat in Kyankwanzi. I directed the Chief Administrative Officers (CAOs) that all communication and resources sent to districts, including programmes such as PDM funds, must be shared with Members of Parliament and LCV Chairpersons for transparency and coordination.
I also informed the leaders that Government will soon roll out a nationwide fish farming programme, especially in wetlands, because fish farming requires machinery and deliberate state support beyond the Shs 1 million under PDM.
We are also planning to establish a military barracks in Bulambuli near Kween, a long-standing proposal, and ensure that all government land is utilised productively, including planting seedlings to support agricultural growth.
