University of Tennessee commits @GracynNeedle and @EmmaPynes6 joined us last week to experience the homeschool program, and hearing their feedback meant a lot. It was great having them in during spring break, getting quality work in and setting the tone for the week. It was also awesome for our younger athletes to spend time around them, and see what that next level of commitment looks like up close. That kind of environment matters more than people realize. Registration for next year is already open, and we’re getting close to our limit on accepted players. This picture says so much about the prep @GracynNeedle puts into every swing. She’s on deck getting ready for her at-bat with controlled breathing and visualization. A fast heart rate speeds everything up, including the ball. Deep breaths slow the heart rate down and make the game feel slower. Taking deep breaths between pitches keeps your mind fresh and helps you reset for every pitch and every situation. Every pitch is a new life and a new opportunity to do damage. Are you working on deep breaths during practice between reps? It’s a great way to start building this into your daily routine. 🙌🏼

I am so blessed and excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at Palm Beach Atlantic University!
