If you’ve never recovered bullets from a living thing that has been shot it might seem like all you have to do is dig out a thing that looks like a bullet and examine it. In reality it isn’t always that simple.
There are lots of different projectile designs that perform differently when they hit tissue and bone and depending on the velocity they impact at.
With the most common types of bullets, lead core with a copper jacket, they’ll usually be heavily deformed, especially if they hit bone.
The amount of damage to the bullet can range from slightly mushroomed and mostly intact to the jacket being mostly fragmented and torn into pieces with the lead core completely separated and deformed. The pieces of copper and lead that are shed from the bullet can be very small and distributed all along the wound channel.

@MagnumKeith Its a great starter rifle for young hunters. Got my start on the .308 and still have it today. I use it when deer hunting where the shots are 200 or less.

Never saw much use in the 308, either as a military or a sporting cartridge. It’s just a 300 Savage with a longer neck, only suitable for bullets up to 200 gr. Too slow with 150 to 180 gr bullets for long range, inferior in every way to the 30-06.

Sean Payton is using the "Kaden Elliss Blueprint." Payton drafted Jonahs older brother in 2019 as edge/ST; Kaden moved inside in 2022 and became a 100-tackle machine.
Jonah has the same Edge DNA with even more burst.
This could be huge for the #Broncos defense

Moving on to the State Legislature, there are four Senate seats that Republicans have an opportunity to flip this year: Senate District 3 in Pueblo is an open-seat and @dana4colorado can perform better than the last candidate who lost by only 1,705 votes! In Colorado Springs, all eyes are on SD11 which has 3 Republican candidates: Nickolas Razo, Levon Stilson and Mark Tisdale @MarkTisdaleSD11 (apologies if the others have X accounts, I couldn't find them with a quick search). Current Senator Tony Exum only won by 2,216 votes four years ago. Senate District 15 in the Northern part of Colorado has an opportunity to elect Rob Woodward (formerly served in this seat: @SenatorWoodward) and defeat one of the most authoritarian Senators in Colorado, Janice Marchman. Woodward lost to Marchman in 2022 by only 1,014 votes. And, recently added to the list is SD21 which Frederick Alfred Jr @FredforColorado is now running in! This seat was recently vacated and is now up for election this year. Just two years ago, the Democrat won with only 1,456 votes!
