UPDATE 5: Southbound SR 167 is OPEN between S 212th St in Kent & 15th St NW in Auburn. Northbound SR 167 remains CLOSED in this area due to water on the roadway. Our crews are placing sandbags and pumping water off the roadway. There is no ETA for reopening NB SR 167 lanes.

In coordination with King County, we have issued a FLASH FLOOD WARNING for a levee breach in Tukwila WA near Todd, Blvd. Water is likely moving north towards I-405.  In addition, an evacuation notice is now in effect from King County.

UPDATE 4: Two NB SR 167 lanes will temporarily reopen in Pacific starting Sunday (10/12). ALL LANES on NB SR 167 will close 10pm Sat to 6am Sun (Oct. 11-12) while crews shift traffic on the damaged bridge. Speed limit drops to 45mph in this area. Trucks must use right lane.

UPDATE 3: Here’s what we know & what we’re doing on NB SR 167 bridge at 3rd Ave: The girder must be replaced. Lanes on NB SR 167 will remain reduced. This will take months, not weeks. We’re developing the repair plan now & will share updated timelines as soon as we can.

UPDATE #4: The SR 410 White River Bridge will remain closed after a collision caused damage in multiple spots. We've spent the past 2 days inspecting; now we’ll analyze findings for next steps. The detour is long. Reopening will be as fast as possible, but safety comes first.

UPDATE #3: The SR 410/White River Bridge between Buckley and Enumclaw will remain CLOSED until further notice after a bridge strike today. Bridge inspectors will do further assessment tomorrow. Follow detour signs and use alt routes including SR 164, SR 18 and SR 167.
