@RejeraTheMage @linusgsebastian the two are linked tho, for example in order to provide enough bandwidth you need more servers to store content at that resolution. All servers delivering content do not need to store all versions.

Many people watching today's 4K premium video asking why *creators* shouldn't be the ones to bear the storage/bandwidth costs 1. It creates a divide that favors established ($$) creators and makes it harder for newcomers 2. We already do. Youtube takes 55% of all video revenue!
