To anyone on here that imports from China, I am seeking your wisdom here. At 50% tariffs, can you restart trade with China, or no? From what I am hearing, 50% is the number where some super high profit margin industries can restart trade. 5% will get paid by FX devaluation 12% will get paid by Chinese manufacturer 12% will get paid by American business 20% will get paid by American consumer Everyone will be worse off. But at least, business can restart at these numbers. Which wasn’t true at 145%. Is this the case for your business?
