@EliotShorrParks I genuinely this is a byproduct of him not turning the ball over. He’s been careful with the ball to the point he isn’t taking chances like he used to. We need to strike a balance between being careful with the ball but taking your shots. Needs to get his confidence back

Jalen Hurts Re-Watch Report Card:
** I came away more impressed with his game than I expected considering the strong reaction in the locker room to how poor the passing game was. Doesn’t mean Hurts or the passing game was good but they weren’t a disaster imo.
** The main issue overall to me seems to be Hurts taking too long to get rid of the ball or only throwing it if the WR is very open. Almost no anticipation throws in this game. The passing game never feels in rhythm like when you watch other offenses. I think Hurts timing is why.
** Another game with no turnovers by Hurts. In a very close game you could argue the biggest difference was Young turned it over, Hurts didn’t. That is no small deal or side note to the game.
** The plays Hurts makes with his legs can’t be ignored. He makes 2-3 plays a game that keeps drives alive that most other QBs do not. Now sometimes those plays are because he is holding onto the ball but in this game they were because he was avoiding pressure.
** Hurts made a few big plays on 3rd down. In a week where there will be lots of talk of if Hurts can win in the playoffs his ability to make big plays on big downs is a big reason to believe.
** Twice AJ Brown was open for a TD and twice Hurts didn’t throw it. Not good and I understand AJ’s frustration considering they were much easier throws than the ones Hurts ended up making. Good example of where the Eagles passing game is at — it looks harder than it needs to but for the most part the results are there.

The NFC East runs through the Commanders and right now it’s honestly not even close.
I know it’s still early but if they can figure out their defense (doesn’t look honestly that bad today) they will make for a tough playoff game down the road.
