I am scheduled to head back to Dubai from New York City where I have delivered a very successful conference. What surprises me is that the plane is almost FULL. People clearly don't believe the media and discard any silly travel warnings. THE UAE IS SAFE AND PEOPLE KNOW IT! 🇦🇪🇦🇪

@KingaJSzabo Dubai is not dead but I had a friend come on EK from Toronto and the plane was empty also has a friend coming in from Geneva and it was full. Let’s take a proper perspective

@KingaJSzabo The two F1 races that were due to be held in the region have both been cancelled. Bahrain 10-12 Apr, Saudi Arabia 17-19 Apr. Abu Dhabi may yet still be cancelled in December, if it had been next month it would have been cancelled.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion ، but reducing an entire city like Dubai to negativity says more about perspective than reality Dubai doesn’t try to please everyone, and it doesn’t need to It’s a city built on ambition, resilience, and opportunity for those who are ready for it Not everyone will understand that and that’s perfectly fine 🇦🇪

Where are those who questioned and exaggerated the impact of the rain on the UAE? They disappeared when the truth emerged and when the nation proved its ability to turn challenge into achievement within hours And where are they when it comes to the Dubai World Cup — a global event that went ahead right on schedule, without delay ? But it’s no surprise the UAE, and Dubai in particular, cannot be matched We are always at the forefront and those at the top are always targeted 🇦🇪

Dubai is collapsing. Ballistic missiles have struck Emirates Global Aluminum. The Industrial site is severely damaged. Toxic emissions could damage the lungs and kidneys of residents. Iran has promised more retaliation in the coming months. The UAE and Dubai are going through its worst phase.

Governments are urging people to leave Dubai while they still can. The UAE itself continues to say “life is normal” and downplays the risks, while official advice focuses on physical security threats and legal risks from strict local laws.
