４ｐｍ　ｉｎ　Ｓｕｍｍｅｒ A collaboration with @hanrgb Going live on @SuperRare at 17:30 CET My first piece on the platform. And also, my first 1/1 in years. Han has been asking me to participate in cryptocube creators since 2022. For such a long time I had no space to create the art. But I am so proud and glad to finally join the legendary cohort of artists who have created their rendition of the cubes. Many of you do not know, but cryptocubes were some of my earliest buys back in 2020. I remember thinking so clearly "wow 60$!!! that is so expensive!" and then proceeded to buy three. It was the start of my collecting joueney. And to now be part of it, well, its fucking awesome. This piece came after my 4 month trip. And as a result its an incredibly calm experience. With the goal of having this in an endless loop, I went to work. Dark afternoon clouds hang over the lush pine trees. The rain dripping (frame by frame animation) over the glazed ceramic tiles as I saw them in Korea years ago. And then the light illuminating the haze in the air. A soft warmth amidst the darkness. We hear the tingling of me on the Kalimba in the background, a soft sound almost played at random inspired by c418 who captures an almost nostalgic but serene experience. And then the key that brings it all together. The soft rain, recorded in Japan. You know the meme where you see: "place anywhere else: 😒. Place Japan: 🤯😱" Well it is true. Because I do not think I have ever recorded such crisp and soft rain. Perfect for the scene being portrayed here. Now about the cryptocubes and creator edition. Read more below 👇👇👇👇
