Let’s be honest: is going to the gym 4 to 5 times a week(consistently) useless if your diet is bad and trash? 🤔

@JillianMcLeod05 No. The point is contracts are released within 5 mins for free agency opening up. Those contracts aren't negotiated in 5 mins. They were negotiated way before free agency opened up. Every team in every league tampers. Everyone knows this (except you)

@t6rts147 @Airaasayss You aren’t good at this. It says I enter a room with 50 people.(51) a killer walks in.(52) and kills 30 people. At a minimum 52-30 is 22 which is playing this game your way would mean that there are 22 people in the room.

You’re born onto a planet you never asked to exist on… and society immediately hits you with: “Okay, now go earn the right to eat, sleep, rest, and have shelter.” Like… zoom out for a second. We’re floating on a rock in infinite space and we created a game where you have to spend most of your life working just to not starve or freeze to death. The whole concept is actually insane when you think about it.

Josh Brolin nailed sobriety in one powerful line. He loved drinking — called it gasoline in his veins. But he made it his mission to make sobriety more fun than his wildest nights. He was even willing to lose his wife Kathryn to put sobriety first. No more Jekyll and Hyde. No more getting banned from every bar. That version of him is gone. This one hit me hard. Most people see sobriety as losing something. Brolin treated it like upgrading his entire life. Real change happens when the new path feels more alive than the old one. Have you found sobriety (or quitting any bad habit) can actually become more rewarding than before?

@Himanshutyg_ifs They dont have predators and don't need the defence mechanism. Those markings are just to protect them from other predators while they drink water. Ok....

It's a misinterpretation of tiger's brilliant evolutionary adaptation. Tigers are apex predators. Adult tigers don’t have natural predators to worry about, so they don't need "anti-predator" defenses. Instead, those striking white spots on the back of their ears (called ocelli) serve a much deeper biological purpose. When a tiger lowers its head to drink, its ears naturally rotate and flatten out. Even an apex predator is vulnerable when its head is down at a waterhole. Rival tigers, large packs of dholes, or mugger crocodiles can seize the moment. To a predator stalking from behind, it looks like the tiger is staring straight at them. But the adaptation goes further. In dense woods & grass, a tigress uses these high-contrast white spots as silent, visual guideposts for her cubs to follow. The problem exists because we project our own ideas of defense onto an animal that is actually using a masterpiece of offensive signaling and maternal communication.

I feel like people who say “you only need an hour in the gym” aren’t really factoring in warming up, cooling down, stretching, and everything else that goes into a proper session. They’re basically just walking in, lifting, and walking out. Done.

There is no such thing as an essential carbohydrate. That is not an opinion. That is basic biochemistry. There are essential fats. There are essential proteins. Your body cannot make them, so you need to get them from food. Carbohydrate is not on that list, because your liver can make the glucose you need from fat and protein. That process is called gluconeogenesis. So why were people told to base meals around grains? The 1977 dietary guidelines pushed 6 to 11 servings a day. That was presented as health advice. It also happened to suit a food system built around cheap, storable, profitable products. A population living on meat, eggs, and simple whole food is harder to sell to on repeat. That is worth thinking about. When I cut back on carbohydrates my energy stabilised, my hunger became manageable, and I stopped thinking about food every two hours. That is not what you would expect if you had removed something essential. Your body does not need carbohydrate. It needs enough energy, enough protein, enough fat, and the right signals. What is the most difficult carb for you to give up?

Doctor: skip breakfast and you'll be unwell. Also doctor: take this fasting blood test, fasting twelve hours. Doctor: fasting is dangerous. Also doctor: please fast before your operation. Doctor: ketosis is a medical emergency. Also doctor: this child with epilepsy responds remarkably well to ketosis, isn't medicine amazing. The body cannot be in danger and saved by the same thing in the same week. Pick a story. Stick to it.

has a single person in the history of humankind ever once associated the love of nature with the right? Is that something that has ever happened literally once at all?
