@Tmc0610 Sparking got dropped by casuals because of lack of content. The tenkaichi games including this one was never made for true competition. At least not in the way of SF, MK, Tekken. Most casuals won’t take the PvP seriously and/or simply got bored of the game.

Sparking is hated because it’s a fighting game and fighting games by tradition are niche becuase of the skill curve. Sparking’s marketing may have been a little too great for its own good because a lot of casuals bought it, got skill gapped and dropped the game. While there should have been more content outside of PvP, it would not have changed much in the long run. 90% of people don’t play games like SF or MK to run offline modes, online play is the main pull for fighting game
