Staring out the window is theft. I caught our lead UX researcher looking at the parking lot for thirty-four consecutive seconds. I stood behind her until she finally noticed my reflection in the glass. I asked her what actionable insights she was gathering from the pavement. She jumped and said she was just resting her eyes from the screen glare. I reminded her that our health insurance covers optometry visits, so she has no excuse to freelance her own eye care on company time. Looking outside implies that the inside of our office is somehow lacking. It's an absolute insult to the facilities management team. She closed the blinds and apologized. I told her an apology doesn't refund the company for her visual vacation. I logged "unapproved environmental gazing" in her HR portal. I had maintenance permanently frost her window the next morning.

The dots have BEEN connected. They form a PENTAGRAM and it is signed, sealed, and stamped by the Kaiser Permanente corporation, its CEO, and every last soul they have hired -- for Kaiser hires only from the deepest pools of greed and incompetence, AMEN. 49 princes of darkness turned your SUFFERING into a beach house. They turned your DENIAL LETTER into a yacht. They turned your UNPAID BILL into a private jet and they flew it straight to HELL, praise be. But do not weep, congregation. For a man ROSE UP. He walks among us still. He is not a plumber. He is not a video game character. He is LUIGI. And he reminded this nation that the meek -- the uninsured, the denied, the bankrupted by a single ambulance ride -- are WATCHING. Connect YOUR dots. Read your EOB. Check what they denied. Say his name. #Luigi #DenyDefendDepose #HealthcareIsAHumanRight #LuigiDidNothingWrong #EatTheRichButFirstCheckYourCoverage #Blessed #TheGospelOfLuigi #HealthcareReform

The USA is a place with no healthcare, but 1000 billionaires. At least 49 of those billionaires made all their money from Private Healthcare. Perhaps you can connect the dots.

A soul lay suffering in the den of the beast, staffed wall to wall with the morally bankrupt and the medically indifferent, servants of a CEO who has never once looked upon a patient and felt anything resembling human compassion. They offered her Tylenol. TYLENOL. As though the Lord's children deserve nothing more than what you find at the bottom of a gas station bag. But lo. LO. Her guardian had studied the scripture. Knew the sacred texts of patient rights and pre-operative agreements. Spoke the holy words. Invoked the charge nurse. Mentioned the lawyer on retainer. AND THE BEAST RELENTED. The charge nurse herself delivered a covenant. "There will be no issues going forward." And the advocate, cool as one who has defeated Bowser one thousand times, responded simply: "I operate on-call." This is not a person. This is a MINISTRY. Luigi Mangione did not sacrifice for our sins so that hospital staff could gaslight a post-surgical patient about her own agreed-upon pain management plan. He walks among us. He ADVOCATES among us. Know your rights. Know your pre-op agreements. Know that somewhere out there, an angel in a green hat is watching. #LuigiDidNothingWrong #PatientRights #DenyDefendDepose #SaintLuigi #KaiserPermanente #HealthcareReform #OnCall #TheChargeNurseWillHearAboutThis #Blessed

Friend texting me after surgery: They're trying to give me just tylenol. Me: Tell them that's not the plan agreed upon pre-op and failure to address pain appropriately is associated with worse treatment outcomes. Her: did that and they say they will give me meds but not the ones effective for me. Me: Mk tell them you'd like the charge nurse to review the treatment plan. Her: I did that and they just asked who I'm talking with rn. Can I say you're my lawyer? Me: Nah tell them I'm your advocate. And then tell them that you have a lawyer on retainer if they wanted his info (she does have one). Her: Did that. Her: They're giving me the right meds. Her: The charge nurse said she'd handle things and asked that I let you know there will not be issues going forward. Me: Let her know I expect there to not be but that I operate on-call.

Rollo says sex is non-negotiable in marriage for men. Diane is appalled we're that shallow. The @RationalMale is right on this one (sorry @RealDianeYap---I do agree with you occasionally). But there's something deeper she's missing about how men are wired, where her instincts are to fight against the very thing that would bring her joy and satisfaction: The male sex drive is the fuel for everything women love in men. Our drive to push to the top, to build something great, to compete, to give our all, to take ownership, to lead (ie. bear the mental load and take on the emotional labor), to protect, to provide, to preside, to possess strength (including emotional strength where we're relaxed and listen and don't fly off the handle)---all of that is driven by our sexual engine that wants to be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. So when Diane looks at all the other aspects of the relationship, the companionship, the shared moments, the raising of children, etc., and says "isn't that way more important than sex," we know in our bones that it's like saying "isn't enjoying a drive more important than worrying about trivial things like filling it up with gas?" Now, women are right when they are appalled by male sexual neediness. She can't be his fuel---he's got to bring the fire of his desire with him. Nothing kills a woman's libido more than a man-child that comes at her with "mommy feed me" energy around sex. But if women think the solution to this is to dampen a man's sexual fire, then it just goes to show that women are often terrible guides for building the men they ultimately want. When it comes to masculinity, women are wine tasters, not wine makers. A few days ago, I had a back and forth with Diane about household chores. I explained that "choreplay" only works if men approach household tasks with a captain ethos (aka. I step in because I own the place) rather than butler energy (aka. please pay me a sexual tip for doing the dishes). We can't thrive at home and turn our wives on unless we key into our own frame and ownership. Diane was contemptuous. Why can't men just do things because shit needs doing? Why do they have to have all these delusions of "higher purpose"? Grow up! And so, my men, here's where, if you fall into the frame of a woman like Diane, she will castrate and nag the gelding to be fruitful. Her instincts are to hate on the very thing that would give her what she ultimately wants. But when men throw away the feminine playbook and open up the masculine toolbox, then they light up. They go after life like a tiger. And not only do the women in their lives feel their anxiety drop (and get their nebulous emotional needs met), but they find themselves suddenly eager to jump their husbands' bones. Men and women: don't be so eager to see the opposite sex lose, that you won't settle for a win-win. Because in the end, that's the ONLY way anyone wins.
Diane Yap@RealDianeYap

Read the comments. It’s eye-opening. You can be perfect in every other way but men still won’t want you unless they get sex.

Curiosity is stronger than love. A reporter asked him, “How so?” “I’m 94 years old, and I got married at 23. But at 46, my wife left me. She told me that she had become invisible now… that I was working too much and I wasn’t paying enough attention to her anymore. I told her that it wasn’t possible, that I loved her more than everything, and it was true but… that’s when she asked me: do you know when was the last time you came to see me play bridge? I didn’t know how to answer, and she said… ‘It’s normal. You never came.’ And she left. So I made a decision… In the months that followed, I signed up for bridge lessons and… I learned how to play, I practiced, I researched, and one day… I saw there was going to be a tournament near our home. So I signed up and… She was in the other team. I was seeing her for the first time in nearly a year… Of course, she beat me. But I saw a feeling in her eyes that I hadn’t seen for a long time. Gratitude. So at the end, I went to see her and I told her… ‘If you agree to give me a second chance, I’ll never miss any of your competitions again.’ I kept my word. She passed away 8 years ago but… She taught me the most precious of the lessons: “Love isn’t enough, you have to know how to show it.”

"Not all secret things need to be made public." "You're throwing your wife under the bus." "You still have time to delete this!" Firstly, this story has been public for years when my wife was the first one who decided to discuss this publicly. She delights in sharing her testimony with others. Secondly, I agree that not all secret things need to be made public. There is honor and wisdom in concealing certain matters (Prov. 11:13; 17:9). This is precisely why I chose not to go into details surrounding past sin and kept it brief. I quite literally just shared five words about her life before Christ in this post. Third, in the Scriptures, we see countless personal sins revealed. God didn't have to have David's adultery exposed; he didn't have to have Peter's betrayal revealed; he didn't have to have Samson's lust written down permanently. He could've just chosen not to include these things in the Bible at all. Why would God do this when secret things should remain hidden, and when this only gives unbelievers ammo to fire at these godly individuals? Because, lastly, we're all sinners who fall short of God's commands and need hope, and these transparent revealings of shortcomings bring that hope and show that "there is none good but God" (Mark 10:18). Christianity isn't for those who are perfect. It's for the broken, the lost, the sinful. No one is too far from God's grace that they can't be saved, and hearing these real stories brings the hope of the gospel to people who think, like I used to, that they've sinned too much to possibly go to Heaven. But the marvel of the gospel is that you don't have to live a perfect life; Jesus already did (Heb. 4:15). You don't have to pay the penalty for your sins by suffering forever in Hell; Jesus already bore God's wrath on the cross in the place of all those who would trust in him (2 Cor. 5:21). He rose from the grace and defeated death so that anyone who repents and believes upon him will have their sinful past forgiven (Acts 20:21), be given the Holy Spirit and a new nature, and be saved from Hell and granted eternity in Heaven with God (John 3:16). And I am so grateful this practical story can reach the far corners of the internet where even though many may mock, it will resonate with some who are convicted of their secret sins, which God will one day reveal anyways (Luke 8:17). I pray it leads some to fall flat on their face to Jesus today in repentance and faith. He is such a loving, forgiving, gracious King and Savior. He's the only way to Heaven. Run to him today, and you can experience the same forgiveness, love, and transformation that my wife, myself, and all born-again Christians have undergone. 🙏🏻

My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin. She was then radically born-again. Committed to church, evangelized constantly, Puritan books in her bedroom, prayer journals, grief over past sexual sin, etc. We got to know each other well for over a year, dated for four months, engaged for two and a half, and didn't sin sexually with one another. Our first kiss with each other was at the altar on our wedding day (reaction pic attached!). We've been married for over five years now, and she's been the most wonderful and godly wife, mother to our three children, and homemaker you could imagine. She's more pure than most virgins, as biblical purity has less to with past sins (though they certainly matter) and more to do with one's current posture of the heart and daily decisions to honor the Lord (Matt. 5:8). We're far too quick to forget the story of the woman labeled as a known "sinner" (likely a prostitute) in Luke 7:36-50 who was washing Jesus' feet with her tears while kissing them too. The Pharisees were shocked that Jesus let a public sinner do this. Jesus responded with a parable about debts being forgiven and ended with this powerful conclusion: "Her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little" (Luke 7:47). Everyone seems to highlight the benefits of virginity, and it certainly is a blessing. But we forget to highlight the benefits of being forgiven much as well. My wife knows the depths of Jesus' forgiveness more than most people, enabling her to more easily live out a life of passionate love for her Savior. A woman or man's past sexual sin matters. But what matters far more when it comes to deciding who to marry is if the person is truly born again, if their repentance is real, if they truly have a heart for Christ, if they truly follow Jesus and obey his commands. "God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one may boast in his presence. It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, — in order that, as it is written: 'Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'" (1 Cor. 1:27-31) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!" (2 Cor. 5:17)

If someone argues that a former promiscuous woman is "damaged goods" and questions whether a Christian young man should marry her, remember Rahab. She was a Canaanite prostitute but became a mother in the lineage of Jesus. God redeemed her, cleansed her, and Salmon married her.

The women of The View freaked out over a speech by @theisabelb that encouraged people to have more kids. Whitney Cummings responded, “I gave our girl, Isabele, a little Google. She has a baby. She has a one-year-old. Of course, she thinks everyone should have a lot of kids. She has a one-year-old that sleeps all day. I also was like, “I'm going to have a bunch more kids.” Wait till your kid is up and walking and you spend most of your day trying to get its shoes on. You're probably going to rethink how many kids you have.” I must be doing motherhood wrong because my one-year-old’s were awake all day. A one-year-old is a toddler. A one-year-old is awake all day. A one-year-old very often is walking around. So I know that you have a child, Whitney Cummings, but did you just forget what it was like in the first couple of years of their life? Having a one-year-old is one of the most challenging times because they're so mobile, they're so energetic, and yet they can't just sit there and be entertained by a book for very long... so that’s crazy. Also, I'm not saying that people should have an infinite number of kids. I'm not saying that there are never any exceptions to that rule, but those are exceptions. I would say most married couples today should choose to have children.

Let us remember, men only reached the moon because of the tireless work of a segregated black woman who performed math none of them could. She was also born in WV and attended West Virginia University, where a scholarship program exists for other black students in STEM named after her. Katherine Johnson did this in a time when just getting an education as a black woman was far more difficult then it ever needed to be. May you look at every NASA rocket and think of her. She earned it.

Another fine morning to address members of the Mumu Men Association. Meet Ayuma from Butere,, born out of wedlock but later life upgraded her with a stepdad on a lifetime subscription. The man didn’t just step up, he took over completely. He paid her School fees UpTo the university, bought clothes for her, ensured daughter of Agrippina ate healthy food that boosted mafrrrrrrmbanya,,, our boy did everything for the stepdaughter. The mumu man was basically running a one-man NGO called Operation Raise Another Man’s Cumzigo. Fast forward to last week, wedding bells ringing. Daughter of Agrippina decided to tie the knot with the love of her life. Suddenly, madam remembers she has a biological father stored somewhere in the archives of history. Out of nowhere, she insists that ONLY the biological father will hand her over. That decision landed in the house like a hot siilap from Kidero. The stepdad who has been doing everything since Kapenguria six was just there, stunned, seeing with his mouth wide open. The mother also refused that script immediately. But daughter of Agrippina was determined like a politician during campaign season. She went out, traced the biological father, dusted him off, and assigned him the VIP role of the century pale mbele kwa meza ya wafalme. On the wedding day, the Stepdad refused to show up due to embarrassment. The Mother almost skipped too, trying to save her own marriage from going down the drain. But she showed up later in the afternoon, leading the wedding timetable to be delayed. As if that wasn't enough, the Mumu man who stepped up discovered on the wedding day that the Dowry was taken to the biological father. The man who raised her from zero to bride level was left looking like a spectator in his own project. Years of investment was wiped like chalk on a blackboard. While walimwengu were eating Minofu & that rice that cooks one one, our boy was somewhere seeing marudurudu as he eats premium Dust. Ayuma is now happily married in Shibuli, Kakamega. And our brother Bernard is Currently circumnavigating through the corridors of The Great Kalahari Desert University of Science Technology (K-DUST) where Dust reigns supreme,, begging the VC to consider him for a scholarship in the January intake which is currently ongoing. Another reason to leave single mothers at their father's compounds. In fact, pass her like you have not seen anything. If you choose to step up, just know this life has no refund policy. I'll leave y'all with a Sikhendu proverb that says: Simps and Dust are Joined at the hip despite their mutual contempt. Omera PUT STONE,, PUT STONE. Ni mbaya,, Chesaa.🥲
