@rmeestudios @AndroidAuth I'm not saying your photos are bad, I have a pixel myself for the camera, but the edge detection falls behind and it doesn't let you use the telephoto, making me avoid using the portrait mode altogether.

I honestly don't see anything exciting in the Pixel 11 Pro or Android 17 right now. Google Pixel is getting boring lately and has fallen far behind Samsung and Apple, even in terms of AI and other software-based features. The only thing that can save the Pixel 11 Pro is the Tensor G6. If its performance is anywhere near the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, that's a HUGE win and I might actually consider this device. Otherwise, it's a lost phone for me.

@9to5Google @NexusBen They've had the same thickness of bezels since the 8 pro and they were considered thick then. I was really hoping Google would at least fix that, seeing as they're raising the cost a hundred dollars and lowering the RAM, and the chip seems like a downgrade in GPU yet again.

Star Fox has been #1 on the Switch 2 eShop (US) for over a week. Every day it stays at #1 is a good thing.

@SockTalking Because characters going through hardships are much more interesting than victory, although I think that the all hard route does have some really good character development as well.

@KoopTroopBeach I think it's been enough time to say that I really disliked fox in the Mario Galaxy movie, his characterization, his overly cartoonish design, it was just all wrong for me. This new one still isn't my favorite, but it's leagues above what illumination gave.

Dude this is so good, it reminds me how uncharacteristically they made Fox in the Mario Movie when he made a joke about how "unreliable" Slippy is just to play with the memes

@MishaalRahman My biggest request is that we get universal sliders for translucency of the colors and strength of the blur in the UI, similar to iOS 27. Personally I think the blur is a bit too tinted and a bit too strong, oftentimes it looks like it's just a solid color

@TheGalox_ They feel nice when you're not doing anything, but as soon as it starts struggling (which happens a lot, not just when gaming) you can really feel it chug, and it makes me want to switch away every time. Unless Google either drops price or makes a better chip, I'm switching away

Google really does an excellent job at optimizing Tensor on Pixels Any other phone powered by Tensor would be a mess From what I've experienced on the Pixel 8 Pro and 10 Pro XL, they feel as fast if not faster in daily usage. The software is also fast and animations are great

@younghavok I heard a ton of semi understandable pushback about game key cards, but I don't understand why it's treated like something new. Don't Sony and Xbox not let you play off of discs on literally any games?

No idea how you want the physical market to survive but choose to hate on Nintendo.

@DandyKnoxville I do still wish they showed a little bit of it with the sunset with a more panned out camera. I was really looking forward to seeing that fantastic visual such amazing fidelity.
