I have no problem with Elversberg or small clubs in general and yes, it’s a beautiful story for them to get promoted. But those big clubs in Bundesliga 2 seriously need to get their act together. It’s no use for the Bundesliga as a product and ultimately the corresponding clubs themselves if you know there is one team that will 99.98% go down again.
Happened with Fürth couple years back, Kiel. Heidenheim had that season where they finished 8th, fair enough. But it was the same for them this season as well. And most likely it will happen to Elversberg too. We need the Hannovers, Herthas and Nürnbergs back in the Bundesliga, because they have the potential to stay up long-term and compete.

There is now serious consideration being given to changing the head coach at Liverpool. It would require an admission higher up that things are beyond repair, but the question is at least now posed, it would also mean a reshuffle above the head coach at the director level.

I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that. Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it. Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games. Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on. As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.

@Kirkdalien Ruined the season, could’ve sorted it by the end of August with a load of penalties but they always bottle it. It’s killing football at the top level, VAR has sucked the enjoyment out of the game. I would bin it tomorrow even with the useless officials.

It was a penalty before the ball had got near Raya, so the VAR got it wrong, as they do every week on every corner. The PGMOL & the referees have wrecked this season, allowing the penalty area to be a game of rugby for every corner.
