@MikeyDiMercurio You know I can build you a Seiko that is +/- 5 seconds per day, right? I could probably even do gold dolphins...

"A cheap Timex keeps the same time as an expensive Rolex."
Not true.
My Rolex Submariner loses 1-3 minutes a day.
Why?
According to the jeweler, it gets dirty and must be cleaned. (How the FUCK does dirt get into the sealed compartment of the watch?)
Not just anyone can clean it.
It has to be cleaned by Rolex Switzerland.
Which means it will be gone for 12 weeks.
And the cleaning? It will cost $2000.
So...bottom line...a Timex keeps MUCH better time than a fookin' Rolex.

Why do I get a bad feeling about a platform trying to do it all?
The same bad feeling I got when the perfect submarine, the Block IV Virginia-class got a compartment added for a bunch of fricken Tomahawks to make the Block V, without adding horsepower. Now it's a big, heavy, bloated boat doing the pedestrian mission of the Ohio class.
You want an SSGN? Design it from the ground up. Don't be Scotch-taping missile compartments onto otherwise functional submarines.

.@USNavy BBG(X) is built for the fight ahead—and designed for producibility.
No commander should have to choose between air defense, ASW, ASuW, or long-range strike. This platform delivers all of it—at the highest level.
Battlegroups will integrate unmanned systems, embarked staff elements, layered defenses, and high-speed long-range fires.
The next-generation battleship anchors the high end of the Fleet of the Future and delivers decisive combat power from the 2030s into the next century.

So let me get this straight: Iran not only refuses further negotiations, it doesn't even bother to show up, is keeping the Strait of Hormuz blocked -- and Donald Trump, after all the bravado, threats of extermination, and chest-thumping, just extends the truce, does nothing, and waits for the regime to “submit their proposal”?
If that’s not a humiliating fiasco and a display of complete weakness, I don’t know what is.
