I think this is one reason why Artemis 2 was so much fun. Watching the four astronauts flying around the moon and all the scientists and engineers on the ground not afraid to show genuine excitement felt liberating.

Perhaps it’s that humanity does not actually have the values worthy of continued existence. Does humanity deserve to continue to exist. It’s about the actual capacity for even imagining that “the end justifies the means”. Grace made it clear that HE wasn’t willing to sacrifice himself, as was his absolute right. Others overrode his free will & sent him to death. That’s not sacrifice. I can’t say that Grace actually ended up doing the right thing. He forever rewarded & reinforced a truly ugly mentality & absolutely corrupted the concept of sacrifice.

I'm being passively peer-pressured into rewatching The Martian for the 37th time by the universally glowing reviews of Project Hail Mary.

I haven't read Project Hail Mary yet, but I do wonder if the book addresses the 'Wait Equation' at all, IE what the ship and potential capabilities, speed, crew etc look like if they iterate for another year before sending it. I understand the haste, but given they were unlocking brand new propulsion technology on the tech tree, I can't help but feel it MIGHT come in to play. Book readers? Is this addressed?

Many more charges for TWO separate cases are ONGOING in Romania, including organized crime, sex trafficking, rape, trafficking of minors, sex with minors, witness tampering, etc. Some might be crazy enough to believe that over 60 different charges from different sources include dozens of victims and witnesses are probably totally made up. Even if you are that crazy, you should probably be a little bit cautious to defend people who face dozens of sex and pedophilia related charges. Anyone who has engaged a little bit with the evidence, the accusations, and the cases in question knows that Andrew and Tristan have most definitely engaged in sex trafficking of adults and minors and the rape of women. IT IS KNOWN WITHOUT A DOUBT, THAT THEY HAVE PUSHED OUT MUCH PORNOGRAPHY! Andrew and Tristan proudly bragged about that. So, my question again; When the hell did it become a thing among so-called right-wingers and conservatives to defend such filth? Why are defenders of such filth tolerated or welcomed among right-wing/conservative circles? Do people really care about morality? Do people care about protecting minors? Do people care about crime? Everyone should distance themselves from defenders and condemn and hope for or work toward the complete prosecution of these filthy pimps, rapists, and traffickers. Anyone who associates with them or defends them should be shamed, called out, and shunned.
