Emily Thornberry is a member of the lobbying group Labour Fiends of Israel What fuels her racist hate for the victims of Israeli discrimination &crimes including murderous atrocities, land grabbing & international law breaking? Is it few thousand pounds? x.com/SaulStaniforth…
Saul Staniforth@SaulStaniforth

Emily Thornberry was asked if cutting off food, water & power was within intl law, & she replied that Israel has an absolute right to defend itself. What she was doing here was defending war crimes.

@chunkymark We allegedly have safeguarding policies for every institution in the country, but nobody knows how to apply them.

Hmmm yes, it's been going round in my head for a few days now. 'Threads' is the name of a film I saw in the 80s about a nuclear bomb being dropped on Sheffield. It's also the name of a book about the migrant crisis by the brilliant @cartoonkate Ah well.

So now we have all marched up the hill with our pitchforks based on something the lying scumbags at the Sun newspaper say happened. What’s next?

Just received a bill from BT. It's for a bill that I've already paid. I go to 'If you want to know how much is outstanding on your account, enter your bill reference first'. Good idea. One problem. I don't have a bill reference number for the online bill they've sent me.

@NathanJonesBook Well it's the law, which I assume was made to protect vulnerable young people. They've recently discovered that the adolescent brain doesn't finish it's development until the age of 24. The case is about the abuse of power, again.

A BBC presenter is accused of soliciting nude pictures from a minor. They did a bad thing. Undoubtedly. But the "kid" was seventeen and earned £35,000. Should this be taken into account when they're charged/judged? #WritingCommunity

In contrast to Orhan Pamuk's 'My Name is Red'- which I found an extremely uncomfortable read, and didn't realise it's genius until I had got to the end- I'm finding Alice Albinia's 'Cwen' totally compelling. I love the way my summer reading often takes on mysterious themes.
