This is my hospital. I know this to be true, and all of it could be fixed, with support, staffing and reinvestment in our healthcare system. We are truly trying, but every part of the system is under duress. The answer is not in quoting policy, we need resources.

What a sad, sad day for the United States. Horrendous and out-of-touch decision. Canada better pay attention, because there are some who will push, and already are, for the same lunacy to occur here. Be vocal, be aware and don't be naïve to think it couldn't happen here.

Today, the Supreme Court not only reversed nearly 50 years of precedent, it relegated the most intensely personal decision someone can make to the whims of politicians and ideologues—attacking the essential freedoms of millions of Americans.

I’m absolutely terrified that this is where we are - that after so many decades of people fighting for women’s rights to their own bodies, today’s decision has stripped us of that.
