Privileged to have brown and white genes running through me which, when combined, makes red blood just like all Kiwis!! Yay!

@damienmgrant @EricCrampton You may be a responsible parent but there's a lot of parents who are not. Social media would be a babysitter for them. Keep yhe kids occupied and quiet. "Anxiety" is just one of the negative symptoms of social media.

I’ve long said that success for renters is when landlords feel they have to compete for tenants - rather than tenants being forced to compete for a landlord. Good to see emerging evidence that the market is shifting and helping put downward pressure on rents. We want people to be incentivised to build more houses. Our Government’s Going for Housing Growth reforms are driving that forward. @cjsbishop

Christopher Luxon appointing the governments newest and most junior minister as Minister for the South Island shows this govt’s absolute contempt for the mainland. He won’t sit around the Cabinet table when all the big decisions are being made, so what’s the point?

@Jandal_It @NicolaWillisMP Sort out the Gold Coast before you run down our Health care, would have been worse if separate Maori Health came in. Oz ain't doing much better. Lbr hired too many who did too little, we are in recovery mode. People who jump ship just make noise.

@NicolaWillisMP If Nikki had lived much longer, she would likely have suffered the same neglect that other cancer patients are dealing with, and dying as the result of. She would be calling your abysmal mismanagement out for what it is. Your decisions are a stain on her legacy.

Devastating news. Nikki was one of the bravest parliamentarians New Zealand has had, fiercely advancing the liberal values and causes she believed in. She loved the National Party and contributed so much of her soul to it. I will be forever grateful for the contribution she made to my own career and personal development. Nikki’s battle with cancer never subsided but she has remained fearless throughout and in recent years had found spiritual peace with the idea of death. Nikki lived vibrantly and well. Her impact on others was immense and the memories great. We’ve lost one of the special ones. Let us be grateful for her incredible life.

Part time fucking PM Invites himself to a junket in Washington where he made a complete arse of himself. Flies back to NZ via San Francisco for another junket. Then takes a week off for personal leave! WTAF? And they had the audacity to criticize Jacinda!

@ClintVSmith Harden up mate. What do you expect after 6 years of the utter BS dished up by Labour. Time to reset yourself, get out and do the mahi, then and only then will you collect the rewards or do you not believe in working?

Funny or tragic? Tova O’Brien asks PM Luxon a question that includes a 48 second 164 word preamble, (that’s around 3.5 words per second) which must be some kind of record for NZ so called journalism. The preamble to the question is loaded with Labour party talking points which are presented without any countering perspective. If you need an example of legacy media left wing bias, Tova’s question is about as perfect as you could want. I’m no real fan of Mr Luxon but you have to feel at least some degree of sympathy as Ms O’Brien unloads her tirade. His facial expressions reveal what he would like to be saying. In her Stuff article relating to the interview, Tova claims that Mr Luxon “called Stuff names”. You’ll have to listen to the end to hear it, but in Luxon’s remark as he leaves he does not call anyone names. He actually says “bunch of tabloid stuff from Stuff, good on you” which is pretty mild really. Even so, perhaps a small sign that Mr Luxon is at last realising his attempts to suck up to NZ’s corrupt and incompetent legacy media are a complete waste of time. One certainly hopes so. @NZNationalParty @actparty @nzfirst

I’ve never seen a government destroy a nation so quickly. I mean even hard core national voters are starting to have their doubts. You can only blame the previous government and the media so far and then you need to take some accountability.

Luxon didn't like Tova's last question, so after someone had to chase him to retrieve their microphone, he goes back to tell her. Really, are journalists only to ask him questions he likes?

14 days into the Russia-Ukraine war, Erica Stanford criticized Labour for not granting special visas. Now Minister for Immigration, Double Standards Stanford has yet to grant visas for Palestinians. For hours she ignored protestors, including those with families in Gaza.

@shananhalbert No problem with that BUT as everyone with half a brain knows politics and sport should be separate. Some Maori not all, I'm one, lash out anywhere, any place it's in the DNA. There is no reason for Maori to be disgruntled we can all prosper if we want too.

@antihobbes She's talking about encouraging people who have been milking the system of handouts for years to get their butts off the couch, feed their kids get them to school and they themselves get to work. Is that so wrong? We should be delighted.
