We saw it with George Floyd, we saw it with Syrians in the Middle East, we saw it with Paul Pelosi and Melissa Hortman, and we saw it with Ryan Carson. Trump has gleefully talked about the killing of families of terrorists, posted AI of a Gaza resort and has refused to condemn political violence on his side for the entirety of his presidency. At every single step where conservatives could have turned the temperature down, like Obama did with the Beer Summit or Biden did with his praise of Republicans willing to work either him, they have chosen violence and increased tension in this country.
