I too am so grateful for Barb's strong leadership and voice in defense of our democracy. It was thanks to her efforts in this arena that I first met her, and I traveled to the convention on April 19 in order to cast my ballot for Barb for our SoS.

Barb has been a tireless defender of democracy and a fighter against the corrosive, deliberate, sustained assault on election integrity by the Trump Republicans. Losing a convention nomination battle does nothing to lessen her voice or contribution to the battle for the soul of our country. I was glad to support her and grateful she put herself out there. I'm even more grateful to call her a friend.

@TBush1689 @JaredHuffman The CERC IS a denomination AND its founder, Doug Wilson, has established a veritable "fiefdom" that includes a publishing house and a network of private Christian schools. AND Hegseth has invited Wilson to one or more of the prayer services Hegseth has initiated at the Pentagon.

@MaxFlugrath @propublica He is correct. Voting machines are too vulnerable to hacking. Other countries that use paper ballots are less prone to electing fixing.

This is flying below the radar about the SAVE America Act: It would require states to upload voter data to DHS's SAVE database which is notoriously full of errors and illegally pools voters' data. That puts both privacy and voting rights at risk.

I read the “Save America Act,” so you don’t have to. Most of the media apparently *hasn’t* read it because, if they had, they would be sounding the alarm about the provision in Point 1, below, which almost none of them have even mentioned. I hope this helps raise awareness. 1/

Most of the ACV circulators of the ACV I encountered were not from MI, instead hailing from states as far away as CA and CT. They were being paid to peddle a petition whose negative impact on MI voters they themselves won't suffer back in their home states.
