@Knight_0mega I was never taught that gesture, it's just inherent. Just like how we smile and nod when making eye contact in public.

Answer from the "W" people....
When you stop as required at a pedestrian crosswalk, we hold our hand up as a courteous "thank you" gesture.
We aren't like others and walk slow as possible and diagonally in these situations.
