@BrandonTierney If Pete doesn’t get signed he should be run out of town. That would be a disgrace. It would be a slap in the face to all Met fans. Diaz doesn’t bother me. Sign Pete or you’ll never be forgiven.

@StevenACohen2 You’re going to owe us an actual apology if we lose Alonso. This is an absolute disgrace. Letting him leave would be a slap in the face to met fans everywhere. Fire that nerd GM and sign Pete.

Mets fans everywhere. I owe you an apology . You did your part by showing up and supporting the team. We didn’t do our part. We will do a post-mortem and figure out the obvious and less obvious reasons why the team didn’t perform up to your and my expectations
We are all feeling raw emotions today. I know how much time and effort you have put into this team. The result was unacceptable. Your emotions tell me how much you care and continues to motivate the organization to do better. Thank You to the best fans in sports.

@EvanAKilgore @RepThomasMassie Yes Massie is the best person in our government

@SecKennedy @HHSGov Don’t waste your time. They are going to hate you no matter what. We have at least two years to get as much done as possible. Pretend the crazies don’t exist and keep moving.

My heart goes out to the families impacted by the current measles outbreak in TX. I recognize the serious impact of this outbreak on families, children, and healthcare workers.
Here at @HHSGov we have:
• Supported Texas Department of Health through technical assistance and vaccines (2K MMR doses through immunization program).
• Provided lab support to better track the virus causing the outbreak.
• Communicated with public health officials every day in all affected areas to support their response and ensure they have the resources they need.
• Provided communications materials for the affected populations in Low German.
• Updated the CDC website with guidance on measles management to include physician-administered outpatient vitamin A.
We will continue to fund Texas’ immunization program. Ending the measles outbreak is a top priority for me and my extraordinary team at HHS.

This will make some people upset, but I need to emphasize that accelerating synthetic mRNA technology was another silver lining. It is a revolution in medicine, like going from analog to digital.
The Covid mRNA vaccine dosage level was too high and having a zillion booster shots was idiotic, causing more harm than good imo, but I am convinced that synthetic mRNA is the surest path to curing cancer, among other things.

@michaelmalice I agree if we had a free market in medicine, but since we don’t it changes the issue. Make everything over the counter and get rid of all the other red tape and prohibitions and I would totally agree.

@AVWalkerKing @TheChiefNerd The schedule is often different from what I’ve heard. They give some of them later than we do.
English

@TheChiefNerd Odd - because Australia, France and Norway surely have a similar percentage of vaccinated people and we’re surely using the same vaccines
Perhaps the numbers aren’t actually that significant..

@BryceMLipscomb @BernieSanders He never had the legacy of a champion
English

Senator @BernieSanders will retire after his current term.
His legacy as a champion of the people has been compromised by his own actions with Big Pharma.
Sanders will be remembered as just another corrupt Anti-American communist.
English

@BryceMLipscomb @BernieSanders @RobertKennedyJr No one with a brain thought that ever. He’s a self described socialist and it’s a national disgrace that he ever got near our government.
English

Remember when everyone thought @BernieSanders was a hero & a warrior for the middle class?
Well he proved he is just another establishment democrat when he decided to back Big Pharma over @RobertKennedyJr, because the 80 something year old cares more about power than people.
English

Bernie Sanders literally said "MAHA" and then came out against RFK Jr. for HHS.
After appearing to build a bridge for independent voters to re-enter the Democrat party, he fully lit it on fire and walked away.
Here's what Democrats are missing: a "no" vote on Kennedy isn't the anti-Trump protest vote they think it is.
Most of Kennedy's supporters weren't even Republicans. Many of them were largely apolitical: disillusioned with the two-party system. Moms, hippies, indigenous folks, college-age kids, even Amish (yes, really). And now, they have a proven ability to sway elections.
Kamala lost the Presidency in November because she refused to talk to this eclectic group.
Democrats looked like elitists, partying with celebrities while staying silent on issues like chronic disease, the poison in our foods, and cleaning up our environment.
As a result, they paid the price.
Data now shows that Kennedy supporters were the deciding factor in Trump's landslide win.
We went MAGA because there was nowhere else to go.
If Democrats want a comeback in '26 and '28, they need to speak to these populist voters, the most powerful independent swing demographic in American political history.
They have to start appealing to the moms. They need to take on corporate interests. They have to call out the corruption. They have to speak to young people (and no, not by buying off 1000s of Tiktok influencers... and then banning TikTok).
Bernie is taking the bipartisan issue of our time - health - and turning it into political theater.
Democrats are refusing to see the forest for the trees.
We MUST choose to love our kids more than we hate each other.
But if that's not motivation enough for some senators, I hope the future viability of their own party (and careers) will motivate them toward unity.
Without populist support, Democrats are a dying breed.

@jamelholley He’s always been a bad person. It’s sad that a self described socialist can get near “our” government. I feel the same way about him as I would feel about a self described Nazi.
