This article is a great example on how the @nytimes coverage of Indigenous issues doesn’t meet the basic standards of journalism. This article grossly misrepresents what happened in the underlying custody cases and the people behind the lawsuit.

To academics annoyed that a billionaire is destroying Twitter, let me introduce you to academic publishing.

It took me a while to "come out" as disabled in academia because I wasn't sure whether it was worse to be thought incompetent or incapable. Turns out I was *unsupported*.

I can admit when I'm wrong and I was wrong about @elonmusk. No one was more skeptical than I - but his decisions this week have shown he really *can* put a social network on the path to unprecedented success. Specifically Mastodon.

Here's my biggest hangup with Mastodon: I don't want to be siloed into a server. I'm not just gay. I'm not just a journalist. I'm not just someone who enjoy music. I like interacting with all of you in one big chaotic space and exchanging thoughts on all these things.

So bummed I had to miss the #claps2022 keynote today. Are there any resources that were shared or related to the topic?

The policy person at my school board meeting, while they were discussing revising the district library policy, just tried to argue that "If you have books discussing the Holocaust, you also need to have books denying the Holocaust." NO YOU DO NOT.
