@_sholtodouglas Speed. Some workloads need speed. Haiku - too slow and less able than other models in this price range. Sonnet - same issue plus at this price it really needs to pull its socks up. So no specifics - just some speedup without a massive price jump.

When do you reach for other models instead of Claude? What can we do better? Hit me with all of your frustrations. dms open. If you can give me detail (e.g. specifics/transcipts) - it'll help a lot in finding out exactly what we need to do to improve the next model

78 years ago, 800,000 Palestinians were expelled from their homes. Britain made it possible. Today, Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. Britain made it possible. 78 years of the Nakba - and 78 years of British complicity in crimes against the Palestinian people.

Hi, Josh Paul here from A New Policy. I've had a lot of very emotional conversations over the last couple of years, but one that has stuck with me was with an elderly Palestinian gentleman who reached out to me after this interview aired. He said "Thank you for telling that story about the boy who was raped in IDF custody. That happened to me, too, decades ago, and I have been too ashamed to speak to anyone about it until now." @NickKristof's article in the @NYTimes was a watershed moment in shedding light on this horrific practice, and there must be accountability for all the harm done, including to an old man who was, decades ago, a little boy in IDF custody.

🚨ISRAEL RAPED A 13-YEAR OLD PALESTINIAN CHILD When the US State Department complained to Israel's gov, the IDF raided the NGO that documented the case of rape, "removed their computers & declared them a TERRORIST ENTITY" per Josh Paul today, (former) Senior State Dep official

I see that virtually everybody is still mostly wrong about why Israel is bringing up the made up allegations of mass rape on October 7, and, after 2.5 years, it's a little frustrating. So listen carefully: This is not historical revisionism. This is not about the Gaza Holocaust. This is not general obsessive victimhood. This is not about malagining Palestinians/Arabs. This is prefabricated justification for planned mass atrocities. Israel is preparing mass murder on a huge new scale. That's why Israel is talking about October 7 again

This has been going on for 80 years, and heavily documented. The NYTimes finally scraped together enough integrity to publish something.

This is a hard article to read, but I hope you'll do so. I've spent some time reporting on widespread rape and other sexual violence of Palestinian male and female prisoners by Israeli authorities, and the article is now published. The assault victims were warned not to give speak of what they endured -- they were sometimes told they would be killed or raped if they gave interviews -- but they found the courage to do so. One man described being raped three times in a single day in Israeli prison, the third time after he tried to protest. A young woman said the guards would come in at the beginning of each shift and strip her naked and abuse her. Another reported that she was shown photos of herself being raped and warned they would be released unless she cooperated with Israeli intelligence. Even three children who had been detained told me they had been sexually abused. Look, whatever our position on the Middle East, we should be able to agree on being anti-rape. Sexual assaults were horrific when Israeli women were targeted on Oct. 7, and they're equally horrific when Israeli authorities use them against Palestinians day after day after day. We should be able to find common ground in opposing rape. Here's a gift link to the article: nytimes.com/2026/05/11/opi…

One of the most striking indictments of US news media made in the Kristof piece, unintentionally, is that we are given an incredible example of how the word of Israelis is taken without any shred of evidence while Palestinians must provide every detail imaginable of the violence inflicted against them, and even then their suffering is treated, at best, as secondary if even acknowledged. Also worth noting that Screams without Words was an official investigation by the New York Times and this report is in the opinion section.

When I was at Hebrew University, one of the Palestinian students told me that when she was in her mothers womb, an IDF soldier kicked her mother in the stomach and said “one less.” I didn’t believe her because I was a fucking Zionist at the time. But nothing rings more true.

if you're having a private conversation in the UK and some Zionist overhears you and gets "uncomfortable" they can call the police and they will then come and arrest and charge you. This is a fascist Zionist regime working at the behest of Israel to criminalize its own people
Middle East Eye@MiddleEastEye

A British woman was stopped by police at a train station and told she was under investigation after a passenger on a train reported feeling uncomfortable and alleged she had made comments referencing the Holocaust. Police said they had received a text message alleging she had denied the Holocaust, and subsequently tracked her down and told her she was being investigated for a "racially aggravated public order" offence. The woman, Fiona Rose Diamond, an activist with anti-Zionist views, said she was expressing political views about the political ideology Zionism. She said she had just returned from an oncology appointment in London when she was met by British Transport Police at the station. She also said she believed the timing and circumstances were not a coincidence. The activist argued that anti-Zionism is increasingly being deliberately conflated with antisemitism in order to silence criticism of Israel and suppress dissenting political views in Britain. "I am more than entitled to hold beliefs about a political ideology," she said in the video, adding that her grandfather was Jewish. The incident has sparked renewed debate over free speech in the UK.

Another perverse detail emerges regarding the 1992-1996 Siege of Sarajevo: rich "gun enthusiasts" who paid Serb forces to shoot at Sarajevans competed with one another to see who could shoot the most beautiful Bosnian woman. This, in addition to the assertion that these foreign participants in the atrocity paid the equivalent of $72,000 to shoot pregnant Bosnian women. The barbarity of the Bosnian Genocide clearly knew no bounds.

The Guardian lists some hilarious illustrations of how fake and made up Australia's "antisemitism crisis" actually is. The royal commission heard examples of "antisemitism" like: • Someone's friend imagined she might be murdered by antisemites at the hospital • Some Jewish people left a Facebook group of psychologists after being told they were "taking the side of the oppressor" in demanding that people not discuss Israel's genocidal atrocities • a nurse wasn't allowed to hang pro-Israel genocide propaganda in the workplace • a trade unionist "felt" she had to step down because younger union members fought union leadership to oppose Israel's war crimes. It's all I felt, I feel, it made me feel. My feelings, my feelings, my feelings. Jewish feelings are treated as so supremely important that upsetting Jews by opposing an active genocide is treated as a hate crime. The victims of genocide are regarded as infinitely less important than a Jewish Australian feeling offended by anti-genocide sentiment in a Facebook group. This is crazy, hysterical bullshit, and it should be treated as such.
