@optionflys counter intuitive? you focus on structure. I have not seen you declare structure broke. you are between consolidation and break out. why address this other possibility?

The market loves to break weak traders. April pullback: –6.9% November pullback: –5.8% Current pullback: –5.2% Every time panic shows up, accounts get blown up near the lows. And every time the market turns right after. The structure hasn’t changed. As long as 6517 holds, this is just another reset inside the range. Next expansion from here? ~7% upside Weak hands always quit at the bottom. $SPX $SPY $QQQ @Optuma

officially bought $NBIS this morning on the dip trading at 3x 2026 ARR based on new guidance have not been early to the story but given the updated valuation on that type of growth…hard to ignore it they also won their second hyperscaler deal which was important for me to see the ability for them to win multiple of these deals quite frankly, I also just really, really like management and feel I can trust them i did a deepdive on my substack for Nebius when it was trading at $130 and was waiting for an opportunity…officially in!

$TSLA "sell-the-news" event was obvious—too many bulls piling into calls ahead of it. Option sellers hate that, so they crushed the premiums to protect themselves. The chart remains incredibly bullish, and all-time highs are still in sight.

I’ve never been so bullish on TSLA long-term as I am now. Elon’s political involvement doesn’t change Tesla’s long-term trajectory, which is dependent on the company’s continued execution toward Robotaxi and Optimus.
Rooney@montereytrail89

@heydave7 @heydave7 are you still mostly invested in TSLA? What do you make recent involvement of Elon in politics? Does that change or have any impact your thesis about Tesla future? I’d love to hear your take.

@karpathy when you forget something , a search is initiated. If found you will be notified even though you moved on and could be in the middle of totally different stuff and if not found you will not get “item not found.” I am curious how little energy is expanded for this type of search!

We're missing (at least one) major paradigm for LLM learning. Not sure what to call it, possibly it has a name - system prompt learning? Pretraining is for knowledge. Finetuning (SL/RL) is for habitual behavior. Both of these involve a change in parameters but a lot of human learning feels more like a change in system prompt. You encounter a problem, figure something out, then "remember" something in fairly explicit terms for the next time. E.g. "It seems when I encounter this and that kind of a problem, I should try this and that kind of an approach/solution". It feels more like taking notes for yourself, i.e. something like the "Memory" feature but not to store per-user random facts, but general/global problem solving knowledge and strategies. LLMs are quite literally like the guy in Memento, except we haven't given them their scratchpad yet. Note that this paradigm is also significantly more powerful and data efficient because a knowledge-guided "review" stage is a significantly higher dimensional feedback channel than a reward scaler. I was prompted to jot down this shower of thoughts after reading through Claude's system prompt, which currently seems to be around 17,000 words, specifying not just basic behavior style/preferences (e.g. refuse various requests related to song lyrics) but also a large amount of general problem solving strategies, e.g.: "If Claude is asked to count words, letters, and characters, it thinks step by step before answering the person. It explicitly counts the words, letters, or characters by assigning a number to each. It only answers the person once it has performed this explicit counting step." This is to help Claude solve 'r' in strawberry etc. Imo this is not the kind of problem solving knowledge that should be baked into weights via Reinforcement Learning, or least not immediately/exclusively. And it certainly shouldn't come from human engineers writing system prompts by hand. It should come from System Prompt learning, which resembles RL in the setup, with the exception of the learning algorithm (edits vs gradient descent). A large section of the LLM system prompt could be written via system prompt learning, it would look a bit like the LLM writing a book for itself on how to solve problems. If this works it would be a new/powerful learning paradigm. With a lot of details left to figure out (how do the edits work? can/should you learn the edit system? how do you gradually move knowledge from the explicit system text to habitual weights, as humans seem to do? etc.).

Reluctantly selling the rest of our $PLTR shares at approximately 11:35 am Tuesday, May 6th. It’s been a good ride. Once a holder of 2,585 shares, we are now down to 325, a reality that truly saddens me. Soon after, my wife and I will officially pay off our house, after less than 2.5 years of owning it, and be completely debt free at 37 years old. A thread on my journey with Palantir. 🧵 🪡

@FSDMaestro @squawksquare also keep in mind if he loses the package and tesla plummets to 100 he will have a margin call. SpaceX already blowing up each starship and burning money like furnace. He may be able to take tesla in private for 28 the now infamous split adjusted original $420. X not faring well!

NEWS: Tesla has just released a new letter to shareholders titled "An American Growth Story." Here's what the letter says: "Elon hit every “jaw-dropping” target in the innovative and ambitious 2018 Award, leading to staggering growth. We have seen what the leadership of an incentivized Elon can do to drive innovation and create value. Protect that same value creation for the future. And in America, a deal should be a deal. Despite having a signed contract in place, Elon has not been compensated for any of his work for Tesla over the past six years, even though he led Tesla to significant growth and stockholder value. That strikes us – and the many stockholders from whom we have already heard – as fundamentally unfair and inconsistent with the will of the stockholders who voted for it." At the end of this new shareholder letter, Tesla shared a quote from Warren Buffett: "Elon Musk...shows what America produces. Elon is taking on General Motors and Ford and Toyota - all these people who have all this stuff. And he's got an idea. And he's winning. That's America. You can't dream it up. It's astounding." According to my calculations, switching all police cars in the U.S. to all-electric police cars could save taxpayers over $1.6 billion annually just in fuel savings alone. The South Pasadena police department made their entire fleet Model Ys. It's saving them a lot.
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt

NEWS: Bargersville’s fleet of 13 @Tesla police cars saves taxpayers about $80,000 a year in fuel costs compared to gas-powered police vehicles. The town is saving enough on fuel to pay for two additional officers. "We just traded our first car in this year and we got $17,500 for a 2019 Tesla, compared to the $5k we get for our gas-powered police vehicles.”
