@obyezeks Indeed, it's in our hands. But papa shud advise the CIC to resign. When a ship is sinking, the captain is the first casualty. If it is not his buddy that is in Govt, he wud have commenced another "prayer work," even though the socio-economic unrest today demands more than that.

Final Part Understanding Public Frustration While Recognizing the Wrong Target: Pastor E.A. Adeboye Is Not Our Problem No, Pastor Adeboye is not our problem. He speaks. He spoke in the 1990s. He spoke in the early 2000s. He spoke in 2010. He spoke in 2020. He spoke in 2025. He has spoken across administrations, regardless of who governed or governs as President. The real question is: How many of us were listening? Did I hear you ask, “What did he say, and when?” I will share two of the most relevant examples- not only because they are factual, but because they embody the pathway forward for our beleaguered country, if we are finally ready to listen, act, and compel our government to lead the reforms Pastor Adeboye has long advocated. 1. November 2025 - A Direct Public Message to President Tinubu Contrary to the misinformation circulating online, Pastor Adeboye’s strong message was delivered in November 2025, during the Holy Ghost Service- not this week. He said: “You can only advise the Commander‑in‑Chief; you cannot command him. But I’ve tried. God is my witness.” “Tell our security chiefs to get rid of these terrorists within 90 days or resign.” He added: “They must eliminate the terrorists and their sponsors, no matter how influential.” These are not the words of a passive observer. These are the words of a citizen - an influential leader - demanding results, accountability, and consequences for failure. This is the same Pastor Adeboye some are attacking today. He issued one of the strongest public demands for accountability ever made by a Nigerian religious leader. But how many of us were listening? What did the President do with that message? And what did we do with it? 2. October 1, 2020 - A Public Call for Structural Reform At a national governance forum co‑organised by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and the Nehemiah Leadership Institute to mark Nigeria’s 60th Independence Anniversary, Pastor Adeboye critiqued our dysfunctional governance structure: “It is ridiculous that a traditional ruler must inform a local government chairman before he travels.” He went further: “We all know that we must restructure. It is either we restructure or we break. You don’t have to be a prophet to know that. Now, we don’t want to break up - God forbid.” He proposed a “United States of Nigeria” - a governance model with a President and a Prime Minister, rooted in institutional effectiveness. These are not the words of a man indifferent to Nigeria’s future. Nigeria is structurally dysfunctional. As presently constituted, cycles of elections without correcting the underlying structure will only degrade - but God forbid- collapse this country. Now that we know - from just two of his many significant public statements that Pastor Adeboye has long been speaking truth to power on the hydra-headed crises that cripple our nation‑building process, the real question becomes: What are we all now going to do about it? “Shall these bones live?” Like Ezekiel in the valley of dry bones, we stand in a moment of national reckoning. The bones can live - but only if we act. It is time for Nigerians to let the image of our 2‑year‑old baby held captive by our common enemies galvanize us to collectively rescue that child and through her rescue our nation. The answer, my compatriots, is in our own hands. Obiageli “Oby” Ezekwesili A Mother June 4, 2026 ✍🏾✍🏾✍🏾

Three weeks ago, my 23-year-old neighbor was kidnapped on her way to Kontagora in Niger State. While in captivity, the bandits repeatedly raped her taking turns sleeping with her night after night. Still, they kept bargaining with her father over the phone, demanding ransom even as they violated her. Her father fought with everything he had. He hustled day and night, borrowed from everyone, took loans, sold whatever he could determined to bring his daughter home. When he finally gathered the full amount, he called the bandits and begged them, ‘Please, give the phone to my daughter. Let me speak to her. I want her to know I’m coming for her.’ They gave her the phone. In a broken, traumatized voice, she told her father: ‘Dad, do not suffer yourself looking for the money. They have been sleeping with me. I’m traumatized. I can’t forgive myself. Even if I’m released, I’ll kill myself. Don’t bother paying the ransom.’ Those were the last words she ever spoke to him. While her father was still holding the phone, he heard the gunshot. He heard his daughter being killed. Moments later, the bandits sent pictures of her remains to him, a final act of cruelty. A 23-year-old girl. My neighbor. Someone’s daughter, someone’s sister, someone’s friend gone in the most horrific way possible. This is not just one story. This is the nightmare too many families are living in Niger State and across Nigeria. Young women snatched on the roads, violated, used as bargaining chips, and discarded like nothing. Living in Nigeria has become truly scary. You wake up, you step out, and you don’t know if you or your loved ones will return home. The fear is constant. The pain is constant. And too often, justice never comes. Rest in peace to my neighbor.

A stunned Mrs. Eunice Ayodele Fajuyi observing the burial proceedings of her husband, Col. Francis Adekunle Fajuyi on 27th January 1967, exactly six months after he was gunned down in the mutiny of 29th July 1966 Fulani counter coup. She was stunned and still couldn't believe what was happening. She was just 37 at this time, left with five children by a man who decided to die NEEDLESSLY !!! Her husband had decided to sacrifice his life to please the Ibos so they won't think he had a hand in the murder of their kinsmen. Aguiyi-Ironsi was with Fajuyi at the time death came. He was a proper Ọmọlúàbí, tried to defend his guest and when he couldn't he chose to die with him. I keep asking WHY he chose to die???? He wasn't assassinated by those soldiers but only assisted in his suicide wish because they had no business with him. But he had chosen the wrong people to die for. First and foremost these same people had murdered Chief Samuel Akintola, a Yoruba man in that same Government House six months earlier. They also murdered Brigadier Samuel Ademulegun and his wife, both Yoruba people right in their bedroom. For these two death and many others on 15th January 1966 and till today the Ibos have offered ABSOLUTELY NO APOLOGIES. So, if they didn't see all that as a collective Ibo responsibility why would Col. Adekunle Fajuyi have seen the killing of Aguiyi-Ironsi in his house as a collective Yoruba responsibility even if he was part of the coup? Why the silly liberal thoughts especially with people who never think that way? Upon all, that death did achieve anything other than to leave his poor wife and children to go through what must have been serious stress. Till today the Ibos blame Yoruba for all their problems in every angle of the world. There is A VERY SICK guy called Justice Ozobi on this Facebook who wrote to his 134,000 majorly Ibo followers things to the effect that Col. Adekunle Fajuyi was the mastermind of Aguiyi-Ironsi's entrapment in Government House and he was later killed by Yoruba leaders to cover it up. You can imagine that. Many of those fools will believe and continue transmit the information throughout their village meetings until they have all heard it Mrs. Fajuyi eventually departed to join her husband in 2013 at 84 Nkan ti se wa ju ní ile Kóòtú Òjíire #ThinkYorubaFirst #Igbimoomoyoruba © Adedamola Adetayo 19 March 2026

Dear Mr Imran @IU_Wakilii, Ramadan Kareem! Thank you for your feedback. Kana lafiya? Please Google Reno Omokri and Dadiyata. If I have only just started seeking justice for Dadiyata in 2026, or even 2025, 2024, or 2023, may God punish me. But if you find that I have been on this for years, then may Allah, Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, judge you, Imran, in this holy month of Ramadan. Dadiyata was abducted in August 2019, and I started advocating for his release or burial on Wednesday, October 9, 2019. I urge you to please fact-check me. Nobody is perfect, but I try not to be a munafiq. I'm only human! I understand your loyalty to Mallam Nasir el-Rufa'i, which may automatically put you at cross-purposes with me. Nevertheless, I urge you, just this once, to join me and let us rise above politics on this particular matter involving Dadiyata. Even when Mallam and I were quarrelling, which he initiated, not me, I was at his house and sat on the mat with him, at his house in Aso Drive, shedding genuine tears when his daughter, Yasmin, died in 2011, may Allah SWT grant her al-Jannah Firdaus. The next day, I took out a full-page ad in Thisday in her honour. Some people thought President Jonathan would fire me for sympathising with an enemy of his government. Some even spread rumours that our quarrel was fake and that I was his mole in government! I do not know if you have a wife or children. But if you do, and, God forbid, what happened to Abubakar Idris (AKA Dadiyata) occurs to you, I am not sure your wife would appreciate the sentiment you are now expressing. Thanks again, and may God help us find justice for the family of Dadiyata's wife, Khadija Ahmad Lame, and their two young daughters, Hassana and Fatima, who have been living in trauma since his 2019 abduction under the despotic el-Rufa'i regime. HRM Oba Omotooyosi Bayo M.Akinleye@KabiesiOlukosi

PRESS RELEASE From the Throne of Ilukosi-Ijesa Date: 26 January 2026 Statement from HRM Oba Omotooyosi Adebayo M. Akinleye (Ojagbuda The 1st, The Olukosi of Ilukosi-Ijesa) It has come to my attention that Mustapha Iskil Gbolahan, popularly known as Arojinle, maliciously circulated a forged document on X (formerly Twitter) claiming my dethronement as the Olukosi of Ilukosi-Ijesa. This act is false, criminal, and defamatory, and it has gravely impacted my reputation both online and offline, causing distress to my family and sadness within my community. Implications of Criminal Defamation Defamation of character is a serious offence under Nigerian law. Criminal defamation can lead to severe legal consequences, including imprisonment. Such reckless actions not only tarnish the image of individuals but also destabilise communities and erode trust in traditional institutions. Let this serve as a warning: those who have engaged in similar acts in the past have faced dire repercussions. Learn from history—do not destroy lives and legacies with lies. I deeply appreciate the Yoruba leaders who have reached out to me both online and offline, urging for peace and resolution without immediate legal escalation. Your wisdom and commitment to harmony are commendable. My Demand To restore honour and peace, I demand that Mustapha Iskil Gbolahan (Arojinle): 1)Publicly acknowledge his wrongdoing in posting the forged document. 2)Issue a formal apology to my community and my family. This must be done within 72 hours from the time of this statement. Failure to comply will leave me with no choice but to pursue legal action to protect my name and the sanctity of the throne. Signed: HRM Oba Omotooyosi Adebayo M. Akinleye Ojagbuda The 1st The Olukosi of Ilukosi-Ijesa -TA @arojinle1

The ring leaders of the 15th January 1966 mutiny according to the report of the Police Special Branch which investigated at the time. 1. Major Emmanuel Arinze Ifeajuna, 2. Major Patrick Chukwuemeka Nzeogwu, 3. Major Chris Anuforo, 4. Major Timothy Onwutuegwu, 5. Major Chudi Sokei, 6. Major Humphrey Chukwuka 7. Major Adewale Ademoyega, 8. Major Don Okafor, 9.. Major John Obieno, 10. Captain Ben Gbulie. 11. Captain Emmanuel Nwobosi, 12. Captain Chukwuka, 13. Lieutenant Oguchi. Each time I look at that list I am always very ashamed of Wale Ademoyega on behalf of his children. If he was my father I would have disowned him. This man read HISTORY at the University of London and joined the Nigerian Army as a Graduate, one of the very few who did at the time. Nigerian Government further WASTED money on all of his overseas training because it didn't reflect in his ability to make sensible decision especially when it mattered most. What was he thinking? Wasn't he following the news if he didn't have enough of the Nigerian history from the University of London and from the then unfolding in his own eyes? He couldn't see the build up of domination of the Nigeria space by Azikiwe and his kinsmen? He wasn't aware of the results of the regional elections of October 1965 to see that it angered Azikiwe's people and was a veritable motivation for the coup he partook in? Even at the time, how could he have ever trusted anything of any action where he was the ONLY NON-IBO in a group of 12 IBOS? He didn't occur to him that it would generate horrible consequences? How more naive could he have been? At the end they killed everybody around the country and spared their own people. Ademoyega didn't think it weird. His assignment was to Raad the coup speech for the mutineers at the Radio Nigeria Ikoyi. The same Wale Ademoyega still went ahead to write a funny book " Why We Struck". Did he really think he was part of the "WE" who struck on that day? That same worthless book is what some people still quote till today to excuse what was clearly a barbaric tribal action Nonsense!!! #Igbimoomoyoruba #ThinkYorubaFirst © Adedamola Adetayo 16 January 2026

Oyo kingdom was created as a border post kingdom to the furthest North of the emerging Yoruba country at the time in the late 1200’s to protect the nation from Northern attacks as well as build alliances with warlike nations like Borgu and Nupe. The man tasked for the job was Oranmiyan…. At no point in history did he elevate Oyo over Ife…. Not only did he instruct that his body be taken back home for burial, he also loved Ile Ife so much that his spirit could be invoked from the afterlife to defend the sacred kingdom of Ife (Not Oyo) Oyo gained prominence in the interiors of Yorubaland in the 1800’s because of the heroic legends of many of its migrants to Ibadan…. Ibadan however was totally independent of Oyo…. Although it saw Alaafin as its patron…. No leader at Ibadan took orders from the Alaafin… They did not build a mini empire in the name of Alaafin and the royalties they got from their colonies; they did not reimburse to him at the new Oyo Ibadan occupation of many cities of the interiors was due to its new role as preserver of the country from Ilorin invasion. This was not the initial blueprint of the ancestors…. Oyo people with expansionists ideas using this as a reason simply add insult to injury and are fanning dangerous sentiments that bring back unhealthy memories in Yorubaland…. They act like Arewa when they claim they have rights to middle belt because it was part of the Northern region at independence… or Igbos when they clain the have rights to the coastal states of Eastern region…. Military invasion into the space of others is not right to be overlords in this new age…. That sounds as stupid as Britan claiming it still has rights to Nigeria and Ghana or Mongolia claiming it still has rights to Baghdad. The kingdom that unites all Yoruba people in Nigeria and other parts of the globe as far as Brazil is Ile Ife. We all trace our home to the sacred city…. There is no creative revisionism that can change this. Every king in Yorubaland is ‘Igba Keji Orisha… the one and only ‘Oonirisha’ we have is the sovereign at Ife

Today, we want to address the constant denigration of Muslim Kings (and leaders) as Fulani slaves in Yorubaland. Since it has become the pastime of Yoruba Ronu, Yoruba Nesan activists to caricature Muslim Yorubas as Fulani slaves, in a clearly coordinated religious nationalism being hidden under ethnic nationalism, maybe we dig into history for some truths. Timi Abibu Lagunju of Ede, as a Prince was resident in Ilorin and Bida during the 1830's and 1840's where he accepted Islam and became devoted to the faith. He later returned to Ede, and became the King. He was involved in a military alliance with Ibadan. And was one of the few warrior-Kings of the 19th century. During the Ijesha-Ekiti-Parapo wars, Ijesha-Ekiti- and Ila laid siege on Ikirun, another ally of Ibadan. They then invited Ilorin (Fulani), into their alliance to lay siege on Ikirun. Ekiti had the likes of Fabunmi (Oke-Mesi) . Ekiti had likes of Ogunmodede and Ayimoro. ILA had Prince Adeyale. Ilorin was led by Balogun Ajia. Timi Lagunju , led Ede Forces to camp at a site called Oke-Timi ( in Ikirun) today. Allied with Ibadan forces led by Balogun Ajayi Ogbori-Efon, they fought and beat the Ijesha-Ekiti-Ila-Ilorin forces. Momodu Lamuye , the Oluwo of Iwo, and a prominent Muslim leader was a critical ally in that war, his network of spies and agents helping to pass information to Ibadan warriors during the war. His own son, another Muslim (Abimbola) was disguised as a Fulani spear man earning the praise praise "“O dapo mo Ilorin ko see yanju, Abimbola omo Lamuye,” "He mixed with Ilorin so well that it was difficult to tell him apart, Abimbola the son of Lamuye.” The Ede-Ibadan military alliance defeated Ekiti-Ijesha-Ila-Ilorin alliance and retreating Ilorin forces escaping from Ibadan victors drowned in the Otin River at Inisa, after Offa cut off the bridge, at their end. Hence the name "Jalumi" These men were ardent Muslims and Timi Lagunju and Momodu Lamuye had Shariah courts in their respective domains. Yet, what is ironic is that these Yoruba Purists, some of whose great-grandfathers in Ekiti or Ijesha, actually invited Ilorin to sack another Yoruba town, of Ikirun, would then hurl abuses at Muslim descendants of Timi Abibu Lagunju, Momodu Lamuye or Ajayi Ogbori-Efon of Ibadan, calling them " Fulani slaves" That is the irony of the "Yoruba Nation" "Think Yoruba First" activists. Islamophobic elements that are hiding under ethnic nationalism
