The Wheaton baseball team concluded its season this afternoon in a CCIW Tournament first round game against Millikin on the campus of tournament host, Illinois Wesleyan University. The Big Blue won today's matchup, 5-2, to advance to the next round of the competition. Braden Engel (pictured in second photo) registered a game-high two hits, scored both of Wheaton's runs, and stole the only base on Wednesday, while Daniel Hillyer (third photo) posted the Thunder's lone RBI. The 2025 season concluded for @wheaton_sb this afternoon following the Thunder's game against the Millikin Big Blue in the first round of the CCIW Tournament in Bloomington. Paige Andrews (pictured in second photo) tallied a hit in her final appearance for the program, while senior Isabel Hillyer (third photo) stole two bases as the only runner to take a bag in today's game. The Thunder close out their schedule having earned a place in the conference tournament for the first time since 2019 and posting their most victories in a season since 2022. 📸: @KodiakCreative
