Both can be true that it’s prudent for AI labs to be careful about rollout AND it’s a very convenient excuse to enter into a new regime where frontier models are always locked away without direct API access. That will be unfortunate, and ultimately would be worse for labs because they will be a huge bottleneck on innovation and will lead to slower progress. Also people, governments, and other companies will be increasingly suspicious of them. This technology is certainly unique, but this story is as old as time and it almost always ends with a fossilized monopoly that’s deeply despised until the market figures out alternatives and moves on.

I built this thing called Clicky. It's an AI teacher that lives as a buddy next to your cursor. It can see your screen, talk to you, and even point at stuff, kinda like having a real teacher next to you. I've been using it the past few days to learn Davinci Resolve, 10/10.

Today is my last day at Replit A friend of mine once said "you're never on the same team twice." I'm grateful for every single version of the Replit team I worked with I'm grateful for our users, some of the brightest and most determined out there I'm grateful for the progress we've made toward our mission to help everyone express their ideas I'm grateful for @amasad & @HayaOdeh, who gave me a platform to do my best work, @davidhoang, who took a chance on me two years ago, and @pirroh, my manager I'm grateful for countless current & former employees who I call my friends Everything I did started with our amazing team & product. None of it was possible without them I'm taking some time off to touch grass, then it's back to building Thank you for following along - I can't wait to keep pushing Until next time ✌️
