@Kogan My problem is solved now. 23 minutes on a phone, only 5 minutes of actually talking to an agent. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. It's the waiting time/lack of staff that's the problem.

I purchased 2 x PS5 consoles during the Black Friday sale from @Kogan, received confirmation, and payment was taken in full. I’ve now been informed that they’re “out of stock” and will only be supplying one unit and refunding the other. This is not just poor service—it raises serious questions around consumer rights. Under Australian Consumer Law, retailers must not: •advertise products they cannot supply, •accept payment without reasonable grounds to believe they can fulfil the order, •or mislead customers around stock availability. I am now left out of pocket, without what I paid for, and with no viable remedy other than an unwanted refund—days after the transaction. This type of behaviour is unacceptable from a major retailer and is exactly why consumers feel they cannot trust online sales during peak events like Black Friday. I would encourage @Kogan to review their obligations and fix this immediately. I will also be raising this with @acccgovau because this deserves scrutiny and accountability. Customers deserve reliability, transparency, and fair trading—not this.
