Seems like people have forgotten that appeal to authority is a logical fallacy. A speaker's credentials MAY lend some credibility (assuming the integrity of any conferring institution) but they don't establish the truth/soundness of a claim. The claim itself must be assessed.

I went undiagnosed with ADHD until I was 21, so I know exactly what time blindness feels like. Before anyone called it that, people just called it what it was: being chronically late. You know how I dealt with it? I adjusted. I checked the clock constantly. I calculated exactly when I needed to leave. I set alarms. Then more alarms. I built routines so I stopped running my life like every day was improvisation. ADHD explains it. It does not excuse it. If being late is a constant problem in your life, then it is your job to build systems that stop it from being one. The world is not going to bend around your dysfunction. Adapt.

How does one become this delusional?

@DefiantLs The employer needs someone punctual. What you “struggle with” is not their burden. Sorry. They’re not a charity, a therapist, a friend, or your parents. Seek support from THOSE sources. When you’ve dealt w your issues. Try again. Or look for a more flexible job. Good luck 👍
