We have not dealt with rapists. You have been focusing on false rape accusations. I do not think that is where the priority should be. First, are there rapists? Yes. That is the real issue. Let us address that before shifting the conversation elsewhere. The truth is, most women do not just wake up and randomly accuse a man of rape for no reason. For a woman to come out publicly and say that, knowing the shame, backlash, and scrutiny she will face, is not a light decision. It is rare for someone to fabricate such a claim without some motive behind it. So instead of centering false accusations, which statistically are uncommon, why are we not centering the reality that rape exists and that rapists exist? Let us deal with that first.

They are connected true, but she was talking about one and not the other. When you are preaching no to rápe, talking about false accusers is the other side of the coin. It makes the rápe topic lose it’s momentum and this isn’t even consciously, because by the time false accusations examples start coming in, the ràpe topic would hardly hold water.
