After nearly 30 years on Mount Everest, the iconic "Green Boots" has finally been identified through DNA testing as Dorje Morup, an Indian soldier who disappeared during the deadly 1996 Everest blizzard. India is now preparing an expedition to bring its brave son home.

'Green Boots’ was Indian climber who's real name was Tsewang Paljor.
May 10, 1996, a severe blizzard struck the mountain, and several climbers, including Paljor, were caught in the storm.
Paljor and two of his teammates, Dorje Morup and Tsewang Smanla, could not descend the mountain in time and perished in the storm.
