🇺🇸 Rough 24 hours for U.S. forces over Iran:
- 1× F-15E Strike Eagle shot down (1 pilot rescued, 1 crew member still missing)
- 2× HH-60W Jolly Green II rescue helicopters hit by Iranian fire (crews safe, some wounded)
- 2× A-10 Warthogs hit (one crashed into the Persian Gulf — pilot rescued; another made emergency landing with one engine out)
- 1× F-16 declared emergency, landed safely
- 1–2× KC-135 tankers also declared emergencies
Iran additionally claims it downed another U.S. jet near Qeshm Island.
The air campaign is clearly getting much more dangerous.

Here’s what is known so far about U.S. Air Force losses during Operation Epic Fury:
Total losses are estimated to exceed $2 billion, with replacement costs potentially even higher.
— Four F-15E Strike Eagles have been lost, one over Iran and three downed by friendly fire over Kuwait.
— An A-10 Warthog was shot down while providing close air support (CAS) for combat search and rescue (CSAR) operations.
— An F-35 Lightning II fighter aircraft was damaged by an Iranian surface-to-air missile (SAM).
— An E-3 Sentry AWACS aircraft was completely destroyed at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia.
— Two KC-135R aerial refueling aircraft have crashed, including one destroyed at Prince Sultan Air Base.
— Six additional tankers were damaged, one in an incident over Iraq and five at Prince Sultan Air Base.
— 17 MQ-9 Reaper drones have crashed or been shot down by Iranian forces since February 28.
— One HH-60M helicopter was damaged in an FPV drone attack on Camp Victory in Iraq.
— Two HH-60W helicopters were damaged during CSAR operation in Iran.

A U.S. Army CH-47F “Chinook” Dual-Rotor Transport Helicopter suffered significant damage to its cockpit and front rotor in an Iranian one-way drone attack sometime in the last few days on Camp Buehring in Kuwait.

Pictures show the total loss of 81-0005, an E-3G “Sentry” Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) Aircraft with the U.S. Air Force’s 552nd Air Control Wing based out of Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, following yesterday’s Iranian ballistic missile and drone attack on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. The strike appears to have purposefully targeted the most important part of the E-3, that being rear of the aircraft which holds its rotating radar dome, containing several sensitive instruments including antennas for the E-3’s AN/APY-2 Surveillance Radar System.

Iran has targeted U.S radar systems with some success.
An ABC News analysis of satellite imagery and verified videos suggest that at least 10 radar sites used by the U.S. and allies have been struck by Iranian drones or missiles since the start of the war. Patrick Reevell reports.

صرّح الناطق الرسمي باسم وزارة الدفاع بأنه في صباح هذا اليوم سقطت عدد من الطائرات الحربية الأمريكية، مؤكداً نجاة أطقمها بالكامل.
وأوضح أن الجهات المختصة باشرت فوراً إجراءات البحث والإنقاذ، حيث تم إخلاء الأطقم ونقلهم إلى المستشفى للاطمئنان على حالتهم الصحية وتقديم الرعاية الطبية اللازمة، مشيراً إلى أن حالتهم مستقرة.
وأضاف الناطق الرسمي أنه جرى التنسيق بشكل مباشر مع القوات الأمريكية الصديقة بشأن ملابسات الحادث، واتخاذ الإجراءات الفنية المشتركة.
وأكد أن الجهات المعنية تتابع التحقيقات لمعرفة أسباب الحادث، داعياً إلى استقاء المعلومات من مصادرها الرسمية.

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has consistently urged the Chinese government to respect the COLREGS and to approach these matters with professionalism, especially considering their role in enforcing maritime laws. PCG Implements Kadiwa Operation in Bajo de Masinloc and Offers Assistance to CCG Following Maritime Incident In response to the presence of around 35 Filipino fishing vessels in Bajo de Masinloc, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) deployed the BRP Teresa Magbanua and BRP Suluan, along with MV Pamamalakaya, early this morning to carry out the “Kadiwa Para sa Bagong Bayaning Mangingisda (KBBM)” initiative. During the operation, Philippine vessels and fishermen encountered hazardous maneuvers and blocking actions from other vessels in the vicinity. In particular, the MRRV 4406 was targeted with a water cannon, but the seamanship skills by PCG crew members allowed the vessel to successfully evade from getting hit. In a related incident, a collision took place between China Coast Guard (CCG) vessel 3104 and People's Liberation Army Navy (PLA Navy) ship 164, approximately 10.5 nautical miles east of Bajo de Masinloc. The CCG 3104, which was chasing the BRP Suluan at high speed, performed a risky maneuver from the PCG vessel's starboard quarter, leading to the impact with the PLA Navy warship. This resulted in substantial damage to the CCG vessel's forecastle, rendering it unseaworthy. Following the collision, the PCG immediately offered support, including assistance with man-overboard recovery and medical aid for any injured CCG crew members. Meanwhile, the MRRV 9701 safely escorted the Filipino fishermen to a secure location, where they are now being provided with essential fuel and supplies. The Philippine Coast Guard reaffirms its dedication to safeguarding all maritime operations in the area and wishes for the swift recovery and proper treatment of any affected CCG personnel.
