@kepano @obsdmd Hey, does your vault also contain all the Jekyll files? I wanted to do a similar thing with Astro. I tried to create a vault inside "/blog" subfolder of my git repo - otherwise the vault sees all the unnecessary code.

a quick demo of how I edit my website with Obsidian 1.8 write in @obsdmd → auto-build jekyll → preview local site in web viewer tab → push to github → auto-deploy to live site I've been making websites for twenty five years, and this is by far the nicest it's ever been

@akoskm You just have to add TXT record to your domain provider. I think it took me around 5-10 minutes including reading the docs. if you decide you can google for „How to verify your B… account”.

@schlimmson My take is that it is all about quality, support, marketing and maintenance. You're right that it is easier to create an app now - but creating an app isn't the hardest part for quite some time already.

Is there still a market for indie app devs in 2025? I love building apps, but at the same time I know that basically anyone without coding skills CAN and eventually WILL create apps with AI in the future. It's already competitive now, no idea where the market is heading 🤔
