I don’t think people realize how strong of a position Cardano is in right now…
The Clarity Act is likely to pass before midterms. $ADA is on the short list of grandfathered-in assets designated as a commodity.
There’s well over a billion $ADA in reserves for community allocation.
AGI systems + quantum computing will challenge many other chains, while Cardano stands as one of the safest, most quantum-resistant, and resilient decentralized blockchains in the world.
Ouroboros Leios is on the horizon, bringing a major leap in scalability.
Midnight introduces privacy-focused infrastructure, unlocking new use cases for institutions and real-world adoption.
And this is just the beginning.

We’re changing course to prioritize Cardano’s growth. We are ceasing development on Acropolis to focus on chain abstraction and cancelling Tiered Pricing to align with the Leios roadmap. This decision returns ₳4.1M to the Treasury. We’re putting resources where they deliver the most value for the community.

There will be two-way Midnight + Cardano bridges.
They will work in diverse ways, until Cardano gets upgraded with ZK primitives and faster finality. $ADA
Stake with Pride 🌈 Midnight + Cardano@StakeWithPride
Wanchain and others are building two-way bridges between Cardano and Midnight. There are *no* bridges available right now, not even one-way bridges. Your assets are never locked on Midnight.

A light node is NOT a "nice to have"
A light node is the most basic piece of infrastructure for trustless access for the average user
A light node is THE ONLY WAY you can have the full security and decentralization of the blockchain AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
WITHOUT sacrificing UX
Actually, it will even IMPROVE UX

@StakeWithPride How did people not know we always thrived to be the best settlement layer

Midnight is not only building on Cardano, it is building Cardano. The midnight core developers, many of which never heard of Cardano before, are actively contributing to Cardano core repositories, and the roadmap. Especially when it comes to applied zk cryptography, they’re the guys at the forefront of pushing what is possible with the zk primitives on Cardano. The Glacier Drop (Midnight airdrop) development process was mostly spent fixing and improving Hydra and getting it to a point where it is actually usable in production. Hydra had been sitting there with its first “mainnet ready” release for a very long time, with the community wondering why no projects were using it, the answer was that it was simply not production hardened enough, and so Midnight spent a ton of time and development resources working in collaboration with the Hydra team to get Hydra to a point where it is actually usable in production (fixing dozens of liveness problems, head participant desync’s and other critical vulnerabilities). Now it’s finally stable enough for real world use.
The answer to, why not add this functionality directly to Cardano, is much simpler than “easier to start from scratch”, it’s that blockchain is a domain of tradeoffs, there is no free lunch, functionality like native privacy and selective disclosed cannot be obtained without sacrifices in other properties of the ledger, no L1 can be the best in every niche, or satisfy the needs of every possible use-case, that’s why L1s as a settlement layer is such a compelling successful narrative.
Polygon has contributed an absolutely immense amount of value to the growth and development of Ethereum, significantly more than any DeFi protocol on the Ethereum L1. Every user onboarded by Polygon is also an Ethereum user. They have contributed massively to improving the EVM, to improving Ethereum’s interoperability standards, to improving Ethereum’s wallets, and to applied zk cryptography in Ethereum and things like the zkEVM / and zk L2s.
People always ask why Polygon doesn’t just leave Ethereum and decide to be its own L1, the answer is that Polygon benefits as much from Ethereum as Ethereum benefits from Cardano. It’s not just partnerchains that need to provide value, it’s also the duty of Cardano to provide value to L2s and partner-chains, if the relationship becomes one-sided in either direction it cannot work, if Ethereum was not providing sufficient value in terms of network effects and as a settlement layer to Polygon, Polygon would leave. If we want Cardano to succeed as a settlement layer, then it’s our job to make it the most competitive settlement layer, otherwise projects will just settle to Ethereum instead.
The Cardano as a settlement layer roadmap only works if we, on Cardano, make it work, by making us the best-in-class settlement layer, and offering unique value to partnerchains that they cannot get elsewhere.

The Cardano Foundation and @flowdesk_co are strengthening liquidity across Cardano DEXs.
In line with its September 2025 Roadmap, Cardano Foundation is deploying an eight-figure amount of ada in liquidity into Cardano-based DEX’s via Flowdesk.
This will support more efficient and robust market conditions, enhance stablecoin liquidity in USDA and USDM, improve market depth, and reduce slippage.
This latest update on the CF Roadmap marks the next move towards broader adoption of Cardano DeFi and improved trading experiences for users and institutions alike.

Cardano was mentioned 5 times (plus 3 citations) on the Google Quantum AI whitepaper.
And it was ranked in the second-best tier for quantum resistance, right behind purpose-built quantum-proof chains.
Above Ethereum. Above Solana. Above XRP.
The UTXO architecture gives Cardano a structural advantage that account-model chains don’t have.
So Google essentially said your spending keys can be protected on Cardano.

Not sure why I am picking on this one, but that's a good opportunity to give a fair shot at: what has @Cardano_CF done in the past 12 months (give or take)?
So, in no particular order:
*inhale*
- Organised the Cardano Summit 2025 in Berlin attended by ~1000 Cardano enthusiasts (and even more online).
- Timely voted on every single governance proposals with clear rationale.
- Sponsored the third Buidler Fest in Buenos Aires, with 10 builders from CF attending, 5 of which gave talks or organized discussions.

- Launched the Cardano Venture Hub (cardanofoundation.org/en/academy/ven…), with the first cohort going through an acceleration program *right now*.
- Worked with DFX & BrickTowers to integrate ADA as a payment solution (cardanofoundation.org/blog/ada-accep…) in supermarket PoS.
- Developed and deployed the necessary off-chain infrastructure for programmable tokens (CIP-113) while contributing to evolution of the underlying sub-standards (cardanofoundation.org/blog/programma…).
- Continued the work on the IBC bridge (github.com/cardano-founda…) to connect Cardano to the Cosmos ecosystem (and to any IBC-compatible chain really).
- Maintained and further developed a variety of Open Source projects, such as (but not limited to): Aiken, Yaci (store and devkit), Ogmios, Kupo, cardano-wallet, cardano-addresses, elm-cardano, Originate, Rosetta,
- Published 'I Can Aiken' book on book.io (book.io/book/i-can-aik…), a complete/end-to-end course on Aiken.

- Attended crypto and blockchain events all along the year to ensure Cardano presence everywhere: Rare Evo, Paris Blockchain Week, Women-in-Tech summit, Azteca 2025, Blockchain Rio, Buidler Fest 2026, JCon, Digital Assets Forum, Teamz summit, ...
- Supported the development of Amaru, an alternative Cardano node, by allocating 2 engineers to the project, improving Cardano's resilience and decentralisation.
- Published a full financial report of the foundation's accounting directly on Cardano, while providing the tool and methodology to do so entirely as open source (cardano.org/news/2025-07-0…)
- Assisted hundreds of exchanges in their Cardano onboarding or upgrades, especially when the network gets a little bumpy.
- Kept running Cardano bootstrapping relays still (unfortunately) necessary to ensure Cardano's dynamic availability until the complete roll-out of Ouroboros Genesis.
- Welcomed and on-boarded various Cardano ambassadors to the ambassador program.
- Worked alongside IOG, EMURGO, Intersect and the Midnight Foundation as *the Pentad* to integrate top industry actors with the Cardano ecosystem such as: USDCx, Pyth or Layer 0.
- Exposed ten of thousands of blockchain enthusiasts to Cardano through the Binance Academy course on fundamentals (binance.com/en/academy/tra…)

- Contributed and helped getting to "last check" three important CIPs such as CIP-0113 (Programmable token-like assets), CIP-0170 (KERI-backed metadata attestations) or CIP-0171 (On-chain Smart Contract Bytecode Verification).
And... I'll stop here knowing very well I am forgetting many things (my apologies to the efforts I forgot), there's just too much.
