@WAJKoenitz @Jeff21461 @Drecas_2000 Is reintroducing 105mm necessary? 155mm can do everything 105mm can, unless you mean to ease tactical mobility and battlefield logistics through its smaller dimensions and lighter weight.

@Jeff21461 @Drecas_2000 In terms of Artillery, i am arguing for the re-introduction of 105 mm as intermediate barrel artillery, attached to the Brigades, in addition to existing 120 mm Mortar systems. A great war will necessitate 24/7 artillery cover for front formations. 155 mm pieces need rest! 3/3

🇩🇪 The German Army of 2035 concept. The German army of 2035 concept introduces two new divisional elements: a second home defence division and a corps troops division with a slated manpower requirement of 151.000 active soldiers compared to todays ~63.000. Some of the big changes are the move to overall heavier units, with the previous "Heavy, Medium and Light" divisions making way for an "Armoured, Mechanized and Mediun-Light" one instead. In terms of manoeuvre, each division will receive a Recannaisence Strike Brigade and three to four manoeuvre brigades. Divisional support elements will include a Staff and Signals Battalion with an EW company under it, an Artillery Battalion, Air Defence Regiment and Logistics and Engineering support elements The Corps Troops Division will meanwhile provide support elements to the other three divisions with two Cavalry (Panzeraufklärer) Brigades, a Helicopter Brigade, Artillery Brigade, Air Defence Brigade and Engineering Brigade. The current Home Defence Division will be split into two with the addition of two extra Home Defence Regiments (there is indication that these will be elevated to Brigade-sized formations). Lastly the formation of a Multi-Domain Long-Ranmge Weapons Taskforce to plan and coordinate deep-strike weapons with ranges up to 2.500km. Source: .Loyal Magazine, Issue 5-2026.

🧵After a long hiatus, I'm back with an ORBAT for a typical Brigade Combat Team (BCT) of a frontline ROK Army infantry division. I've censored all sensitive information for the public version. I should have made a non-specific graphic to begin with, maybe next time. #ORBATboys

full-body armor is impractical in modern combat that's why plate carriers are widely used, they don’t cover everything but they are designed to cover the right area but not wearing them properly defeat its whole purpose

#StrongAndCapable #ImposersOfNationalWill Lt Gen #PushpendraSingh, AVSM, SM**, #ArmyCommander #WesternCommand, reviewed operational preparedness of #KhargaSappers during CETC on river Ganges. The formation successfully validated its capability to execute complex combat engineering tasks in support of operations of #KhargaCorps by undertaking a deliberate and mission-focused training exercise. The #ArmyCommander lauded the formation for its high operational readiness, exceptional professionalism and steadfast dedication. Enables #KhargaCorps to strike at the very heart of the enemy. @adgpi @prodefencechan1

@Toby_1891 @Jeff21461 The Bundeswehr has tons of officers working office admin jobs that civilians could do. They also need to assign officers in peacetime formations (training, PR, etc) wartime jobs in combat formations. It's being talked about by servicemembers, especially the Reservist Association.

20) ... defenses & assault-breaching on the eventual counterattack. In conclusion, ROK BCTs focus heavily on firepower to compensate for a lack of troops. The increased motorization & new mechanization of infantry improves tactical mobility, but often fails to translate into...
