@coleHardik All the “designers” who are praying Claude can do this for them so they can keep their jobs 😂… Claude will not replace good design.

If I hit this dictation button after sending a text and it beeps and stops my music one more time, I’m gonna find everyone at apple and put them in a rear naked choke hold Even if I turn off dictation I somehow hit the voice note thing The send button should not have multiple functions in the same spot

@NHL Last man back, and Bouchard makes the laziest play on a very good player… but this is a common mistake he makes all the time. He’s a forward stuck playing defense.

Lately, I’ve been swapping dropdowns for bottom sheets in mobile design — feels cleaner and easier to use. What’s your take? w / @alignui

Yup 👋… I’m never open for work. I don’t have a portfolio (If you’re talented, they will find you), I make 7 figures a year.. I have a design niche in fintech, mainly neobanking (B2C or B2B). CEOs and VPs hire me to build the design vision, language and push the product forward in ways they never expected to help insulate them for larger business goals (growth, revenue). I’ve quietly designed banking products you’ve most likely used before. I’m very quiet in terms of what I’ve done or who I’ve worked with. (No online portfolio).

There’s nothing better than an incredibly smart UX designer that is actually very good, pushes boundaries and can do the UI too. This person will never be let go no matter what. They are key to the product. However, they are very rare even though everyone thinks it’s them.

@DannPetty It just makes it easier for imposters, much like Ui kits did, I’m a purist designer… I don’t use Ui kits, rarely use a plugin on Figma, no auto layout..but I do like components… I’m crazy 😜

@Korihandy I agree but you can already see the declining in the last decade with use of easier design tools. So the decline will just continue to happen. The gap from good to great will be massive but greats will be rare.

I am certain that many of these influencer type people that are very popular and have millions of followers are operating just like this person. I bet money on it. A lot of these so-called marketing and social media experts or people that will build your Shopify stores. It’s all scams. It’s all money grabs. I wish more these people would get exposed. I can see through anyone’s bullshit.

I feel having $230,000,000 is kinda useless if you burned your reputation in the process Your reputation is worth much more than millions, even billions, even trillions How are you going to spend $230,000,000 if everyone you meet thinks you're a fraud?
CoFounders Nik@CoFoundersNik

Who the freak gave Tai Lopez $230,000,000?? 660+ retail investors from social media campaigns (I’m not joking). An average of ~$350k each! Allegedly: - Tai took $12M for himself - Mehr took $3m - Millions raised for acquisitions were spent on operating losses So how did Tai convince 660+ people to invest money in Pier 1, Radio Shack & Dress Barn?? Twitter, YouTube and Instagram. They ran a high pressure sales approach with zoom calls, events and trips to PR all sourced from their social followings. The red flags were all there: - Investments were unsecured notes (debt). THEY DIDN’T EVEN OWN EQUITY! - 25% preferred returns - No regulatory filings or registration But here’s where it gets really unbelievable: The President, COO and Chief Risk Officer was 38 year old Maya Burkenroad with 10+ years experience managing multi-million dollar companies. How did someone so experienced let this happen? Because that was a lie. Maya is Tai’s cousin who, before this, was: - a substitute teacher - radio station promoter - assistant to Tai I don’t get it. I do not understand how they raised $230M from 660+ investors. I don’t think I could raise $1M and Tai is out here raising 9-figures. Dude is an incredible salesman. Wasted talent. Mind blowing

i've lived in the united states for most of the 42 years i've been alive, and i've never had people be openly racist to me. until i heard from all the people either openly on X or privately in DMs hurling racist abuse at me for switching to the republican party. eye opening.

Why is it that most portfolios that talk about craft, taste, and empathy are usually the least crafty, least tasteful, and rudest online, aka, least empathetic?
