@bumpkinbuilder Multiplayer could be optimized, a sort of priority for who shows and thus better scale when people are on screen (such as during town hall, plaza, or even love island). Dogs of plaza help with the dead world feeling. Maybe some things like that in farms?

@bumpkinbuilder Factions are on the path to get a rework, which is fantastic as they’re notable but feel incomplete. Crustaceans feel lacking. Comparing them to what little I’ve enjoyed of salting, they feel like a stub and not a feature. Mushroom’s haven’t been a meaningful mechanic for me.

@9to5mac Lot of shock to the idea of them removing a feature that I utilize as often as the camera, or more. Nothing wrong with Apple considering alternatives, just like nothing wrong with my keeping this device until it’s time to retire it and compare what options are on the market.

Apple is rumored to be debating whether to keep MagSafe on future iPhones. It's possible accommodating MagSafe is affecting Apple's ability to make major iPhone design changes, since the magnets take up internal space and add cost. @Samaytwt Unpopular for a reason, the keys it replaced was a downgrade for the majority. The only way it could be an upgrade is if it were also keys for tactile use and then each had a screen. Then it’s a notable cost, with limited utility.

Unpopular opinion: The MacBook Touch Bar deserved better improvement, not removal.

Oh my God, NEVER buy an Apple product from @amazon I bought a Mac Book Pro that arrived today, and the computer inside had been swapped out along the way - it's a different model, different serial numbers, is used, and so on Yet I have been on the phone with Amazon for 2 hours getting a constant run around as various people claim they can't help me because the computer (that I don't have!) has an active Apple ID so they can't accept the refund I have filed a police report already for the fraud, but it seems impossible to get any help

@GarciaFeri70678 @Totowbi That’s pretty common from those banned from any platform I’ve ever used: being banned for breaking the rules was unjust. On the outside looking in, I don’t know what happened, but without seeing what the team sees and given how few get banned, it’s hard to trust you over them.

A security researcher just documented a large-scale counterfeit Ledger Nano S Plus operation selling compromised devices across multiple online marketplaces. The fake units look identical to the real thing but contain completely different hardware. Instead of Ledger's secure element chip, the counterfeits run an ESP32 microcontroller with modified firmware labeled "Nano S+ V2.1." Seeds and PINs are stored in plain text and transmitted to attacker-controlled servers. Any wallet initialized on the device is drained. The operation goes beyond the hardware. The sellers also distribute a fake version of Ledger Live built with React Native and signed with a debug certificate. It intercepts transactions and exfiltrates sensitive data to multiple command-and-control servers. The campaign spans five attack vectors: compromised hardware, Android APKs, Windows executables, macOS installers, and iOS apps distributed through TestFlight to bypass App Store review. This comes days after ZachXBT documented a separate fake Ledger Live app that made it through Apple's Mac App Store review process. That operation drained over $9.5 million from more than 50 victims, including musician G. Love, who lost 5.92 BTC after entering his recovery phrase into what he believed was the legitimate app. The pattern is clear: the attack surface for hardware wallet users has shifted from firmware exploits to supply chain and distribution fraud. The devices themselves remain secure. The problem is that users are being intercepted before they ever touch a real one. Ledger's own "genuine check" feature can be bypassed when the hardware itself is compromised at the source, which makes where you buy the device as important as how you use it. The rules haven't changed, but they've never been more important: buy hardware wallets only from the manufacturer. Never enter your recovery phrase into any software. If a companion app asks for your 24 words on a screen, it's a scam. Every time.
