We all saw Uhuru attending parties and concerts in the country, and everyone was happy to see him regardless of their political affiliations. We all saw Uhuru attending Formula One Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi, and no one was angry about it. How did Uhuru do it? How did he manage to have Kenyans behind him? How? Ruto can not even go to Church without facing hostility and someone shouting WANTAM. I mean, he can not even do the right thing. I wonder what would happen to him if he dared attend a concert. You see it all trickles down to EMPATHY. Uhuru was empathetic to the plights of Kenyans. Ironic, isn't it? That one born of privilege and status understands basic tenets of human plight, unlike the low born Ruto, who should automatically be empathetic since he too has experienced them. The masses just want to feel valued, appreciated, and understood. It makes the burden bearable. Someone please tag the video of Uhuru dancing with NYS cadets.

The Value Added Tax (Amendment) Bill 2026 is here. It's 8.0% for 90 days effective April 15th, 2026

Nutrition in Kenya is in shambles. In the ten year period between 2013 and 2023, the percentage of Kenyans who were undernourished doubled, increasing from 18.9% to 36.8%.

All of a sudden after @JoelJirane tweets Other TL doctors wameanza kuraise other issues affecting them also.😊nais very naaais, continue injecting.

The Value Added Tax (Amendment) Bill 2026 has navigated the legislative motions in the National Assembly in just about an hour & two minutes. The House has adopted the Committee's Report without amendments. What a week as far as administration of VAT on petroleum products goes. Operationally, the drama is just starting: · April has had VAT on petroleum product at 16.0%, at 13.0% & now at 8.0%. Filing on (or before the 20th) will be interesting, to say the least · Given the backdating of the 8.0% provision, the case for refunds will be a sticky one in this cycle

I cant believe Black South Africans have allowed Malema to be jailed by a White judge. A nation of idiots

I am pretty sure the President meant 13.0% when he spoke about "reducing the VAT rate to 8.0% for the next 3 months" here. Sec6(1) of the VAT Act cannot even allow a reduction to 8.0% in the first place, the cap is a 25.0% variation by the CS & 8.0% would be way off that window.
