The anti-Muslim Gujarat Genocide was planned much before the Godhra incident. Weapons were bought, voter lists secured to identify Muslim names, riot strategies planned carefully. If not for Godhra, the hooligans wd hv invented another excuse. In his memoirs, 'The Sarkari Mussalman', Lt General Zameer-Uddin Shah, who led the Indian Army deployed during the 2002 Gujarat riots, says the army lost crucial time after arriving in Ahmedabad because transport, maps, & logistical support from the Gujarat state administration were delayed. He stated that around 3,000 troops landed on the morning of March 1, 2002, but remained stranded at the airport for many hours. I quote him," We just stayed helplessly in the airfield for almost 34 hours. We could hear gunshots but do nothing. Of course, it would have saved one day of rioting." End of quote. Who delayed the army deployment? Why? How many Muslim lives were lost because of the delay? Join the dots. It is impossible to miss the larger picture. Muslims are very much part of the mosaic, that is India. In art, literature, architecture, military conquests, poetry, cuisine, science, math & every other field, the ineffable Muslim contribution to India can never be erased, however much bigots like you, try.

Vande Mataram is now being forced in madrasas across West Bengal. Imagine the outrage if Bangladesh made Allahu Akbar compulsory in every school & Hindu ashrams. The same people cheering this today would be screaming extremism tomorrow. Insecure bigots

“The core of Vande Mataram is a hymn to goddess Durga: this is so plain that there can be no debate about it. Of course, Bankim Chandra does show Durga to be inseparably united with Bengal in the end, but no Mussulman can be expected patriotically to worship the ten-handed deity as Swadesh (the motherland)” — Rabindranath Tagore

#BREAKING: West Bengal Government issues order making Vande Mataram singing compulsory in all Madarsas of the state. Vande Mataram singing already was made compulsory in all schools of West Bengal during morning prayers.

Saying this for the nth time now. To any aspiring doctor reading this- ITS NOT WORTH IT! • Study your ass off for two years when the friends you left behind enjoy their school farewell parties • Bear the brunt of cutthroat competitive Kota/online environment • Give >50 mocks and get yourself prepared for NEET UG somehow, only for it to get cancelled. • You cross the first stage and you enter a medical college. God forbid if it’s a tier 3 or a NEW medical college- good luck convincing yourself that it’s ‘okay’ with close to nil infrastructure; teaching staff and pateint load • Face ragging in the first year; failures in semester exams(while you had the habit of topping at school) • Get grilled during clinical postings by professors and patients alike. • Run as glorified ward boys for your residents throughout internship while managing the required attendance for clearance. • Complete your mandatory bond for 1/2 year period. • Again study your ass off for 10 plus hours a day, for a 3 year residency which demands 14 plus hours work each day • Go to distant centres(arbitrary 100+ km allocation) to give yet another exam with the apprehension of another leak always in mind. • Wait for half a year just for the counselling to start. • Enter residency and get grilled even worse than your UG years by not only your seniors but patients and their attendants as well this time! • Emergency duties; disrupted sleep schedule; thankless environment; forced addictions never leave you for 3 years. • In the midst of this, get your thesis done by running behind your guide. • Complete your post-graduation only to realise that it’s just the beginning and you need to be a super specialist! • Go through the same cycle of bond—>study—> exams—> prolonged work hours again! • You finally become a super specialist only to realise there are 50 MORE doctors graduating with you(amongst these second generation doctors; AYUSH doctors) • Toil more for a stable private practice or get attached to a private clinic • Get CALLED OUT for not joining a PHC/CHC where getting even basic amenities are a distant dream. • Bear humiliations of your city’s SDM and Police inspectors and their random inspections. Get beaten up by attendants and bystanders. Get moral policed by whole social media if a doctor tops UPSC or goes for USMLE/PLAB • Participate in IMA strikes but things never go back to normal. • Suddenly you realise you’re in your 50s and you have your own child preparing for NEET UG. And you let him do so only because you think he will be a second generation doctor and things could be better for him. You give your life to this process and sometimes give it up all together. Not worth it Aspirants. Not worth it 🙂

This is the last call of Maulana Tousif Raza Mazhari, and it directly challenges the “accident” narrative. In the recording, he is heard telling his wife that drunk men in the train had caught him, were abusing and beating him, and he repeatedly asked her to call the police for help. He also says there were people in the compartment, but no one was intervening. These are not the words of a man who accidentally fell off a train. This is a man describing his own assault in real time. @TheObserverPost

A 30-year-old cleric, Tousif Raza Mazhari, returning from an Urs in Bareilly, was allegedly beaten brutally by a group of intoxicated men and thrown off a moving train, an assault that ultimately cost him his life. His wife’s account of the final moments is chilling. A desperate call for help, a man pleading his innocence, and a compartment full of silence. Yet, despite this, the initial response leans towards calling it an accident. If a victim is on a video call, saying he is being attacked, naming the violence as it unfolds, what exactly remains “accidental” about his death? This is also not an isolated incident. India’s trains have repeatedly become sites of unchecked mob aggression. The pattern is becoming impossible to ignore. When a bearded Muslim man can be beaten inside a public train, accused without proof, denied help by fellow passengers, and then reduced to an “accident” in official language, it reflects a deeper moral and institutional failure. This is not just about one killing, it is about a system where Muslim lives are increasingly treated as expendable, where violence is rationalised, and where justice is expected to wait while narratives are managed. theobserverpost.com/they-were-beat…

First we have multiple agencies chasing citizens under one pretext or another. Then properties of locals are confiscated. Students protesting alleged misconduct are booked under the Public Safety Act (PSA), send to jails outside, ruining their lives and careers. A sitting MP is denied bail to visit his critically ill father and now a leading educational institute with a rich legacy of serving the underprivileged and producing scholars, doctors, engineers, and professionals is declared unlawful under stringent UAPA! Can the LG administration tell people of Kashmir clearly how long they will continue this policy of harassment and disempowerment? And can the elected Govt tell us how long they will let this happen?

Wars are tragic, yet they remain a reality. Any language or action that contemplates the end of civilisation is unacceptable in the modern world. The use of nuclear weapons can never be justified - under any circumstances.

I am pleased to share a great news that the Government of Iran has agreed to allow 20 more ships under the Pakistani flag to pass through the Strait of Hormuz; two ships will cross the Strait daily. This is a welcome and constructive gesture by Iran and deserves appreciation. It is a harbinger of peace and will help usher stability in the region. This positive announcement marks a meaningful step toward peace and will strengthen our collective efforts in that direction. Dialogue, diplomacy, and such confidence-building measures are the only way forward. @JDVance @SecRubio @araghchi @SteveWitkoff
